I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the deal with Jade Gotchers mother. People don't have anything against Jade but people were "surprised" that she signed with IMG considering how her Mom behaves.

I was at the Next model search runway show two weeks ago. It was held in St. Louis Missouri. The headline on the show invitation read,"Next supermodels Karlie Kloss and Catherine McNeil will host the show. Karlie did her part....she was introduced, mingled with the crowd afterwards and walked in the show.....Catherine wearing jeans and a white tee sat in her front row seat looking bored. She waved when she was introduced but at no time did she participate in presenting the winner or acknowledging the crowd. Karlie was a class act but Catherine sat there like she wished she was anyplace else but St.Louis.
I realize she probably never heard of ST.Louis before but she missed a big chance to let all the young models in the search see that it is possible to start in a small place and become a supermodel who is loved and admired by her public.....on the other hand Ms. Kloss was the toast of ST. Louis that evening.

I think Catherine is just one kind who doesn't do all the hi and smile when she doesn't feel to do so. But then I'll prefer Anja who smile all the time heheh.

About Inguna and Snejana, they could be some kind of pain in the a** (based on the gossips around). But look, all their work turned very classy. The girls must be professional in their job though they may be unfriendly to strangers

I agree, sometimes cultural differences can be misconstrued as rudeness, although Americans don't typically think Aussies rude so maybe now

I think there may be something to that. I've not only had the problem myself, but have heard many times that people I know (other Australians) have been considered rude or just basically not 'understood' when in other countries, and these aren't rude people (at least not the definition of rude that I know). It's weird.
