Watching your husband's team lose the Super Bowl can't be easy, but nobody expected this kind of reaction from the world's most famous supermodel.


Gisele Bundchen tossed Tom Brady's teammates under the bus following the Giants 21-17 upset of the Patriots in the Super Bowl. The Brazilian beauty was caught in a moment of weakness by TheInsider.com waiting for an elevator as she left the suites at Lucas Oil Stadium.


A few Giants fans started heckling her about Brady's performance as she walked quickly to the elevator. After initially smiling and even trying to ignore the fans, Bundchen let her guard down just long enough to deliver a foul-mouthed defense of her man -- and a sideswipe of his receivers.


"I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times," she is heard saying. "My husband can not [expletive] throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time."
Pats receivers Wes Welker, Deion Branch and Aaron Hernandez all dropped passes. As a team, New England dropped at least four catchable balls.

Haha, it's hardly that bad is it. The way they say "moment of weakness" and "let her guard down" make it seem like she's always being fake. I'm not buying it.

Nobody said Gisele is this perfect human being (or shall I say robot) that never gets angry. She's human and it's reasonable when she's being pushed by fanatic soprts fans to react badly. What matters in general, is that Gisele is friendly, polite, funny and easy to work with and not a momentary loss of temper being blown out of proportion by a sports website.

I like Gisele, but it's definitely implied around here that she is a saint. Everyone being quick to implicate that the writer is blowing the incident out of proportion only emphasizes my point. Many reporters published similar stories about her behavior last night, do a quick google search.

She was not in a good mood plus those fans gloating in the background made it worse. But what she said was wrong not only because it was a bit petty but also untrue. Her husband made a couple of mistakes too plus the Giants missed a lot of opportunities themselves to score.
But I really do hate the misogynistic rants people say against her because Brady hasn't won a superbowl with her.

My problem with Gisele is not necessarily what she says, but how she says it. She always sounds like she's talking down at people. It makes her seem like an arrogant b*tch, as though the way she lives her life is the right way and the way everyone else lives it is inferior to her Brazilian highness

I do think that she should have been more guarded around the cameras. Don't tell me she didn't see them. They were right in front of her face when she was walking. For the sake of her husband and his relationship with his teammates, she simply should not have made that comment about the receiver not catching the ball, no matter how true it might be. I mean, don't tell me the Pats' receivers aren't going to be pissed at her. It doesn't matter that she was provoked by Giants' fans. She should've bitten her tongue and waited until the car ride home to rant.
