Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

^ the entire incident w/ Arizona probably took maybe a minute and a half, max. that doesn't sound like a huge imposition to me, she wasn't being rude, so IMO the interviewer should have just rolled with it instead of turning around and writing about it like something super outrageous happened. we don't know the context or why she did that so personally it sounds like a whole lot of nothing!

I hate when people defend this type of behavior just because they are a fan of a model. If Arizona is going to give such strict rules to the interviewer, she better have responses that the interviewer can at least write about!! It seems to be that the reporter had nothing to write about on Arizona BUT her odd behavior. Arizona doesn't seem too bright to me. If you don't want to talk about Freja, talk about something that will get you GOOD PRESS. No excuse for a one-worded answer. None.

^ I don't think she was saying "great" as a response to the questions themselves, but meaning that those were good questions to ask. If you read further in the article he writes that this encounter was more interesting than any of the other responses she gave, so she said more but he didn't want to include them.

Arizona is such a diva but you can only be a diva after may years in the industry shes on her 3rd season and shes starting with all this things?? b*tch Please...

I don't know much about Arizona personally but it actually very common (pretty much known standard in formal journalism) for interviewees (politicians, royal figures, musicians) to ask about the questions prior to being interviewed. It's not "diva behavior."

i know thtta is normal but it is normal in a really important person...c´mon shes on her third season shes not a model icon, shes not a girl that is in fashion araund 5 years...i dont think its normal for a person like her to do this!!

That Arizona 'interview' cracked me up. You couldn't write a better joke than that. After she asks to know what questions she'll be asked, tells the person to cut it down to two questions, she then answers in one word. Haha, that's a b*tch move alright.

Thought I get the feeling she's not necessarily a b*tch, as much as she's conceited and thinks she's above all this 'petty fashion' scene. I've had this impression of her even before from her interviews and such, like she's doing everyone a favor by working in fashion.

Its not that she wanted to know the questions, its that she gave the interviewer no material to work with.

She's not obligated to answer ANY of his questions, no model is. She was there for her job and obliged him with an interview on her terms. I hate this idea that models owe fans and reporters something for being successful. IMHO they are just there to be pretty and to make collections look good. Team Muse!

^

then dont do interviews whats the point of doing it? if u just going to answer in such a stupid way?

if it was for me i will never even look at her.

Of she doesn't HAVE to answer any questions, but you don't have to be such a b!tch to someone who is just doing there job. I'm sure reporters have it much harder in New York than models do. If she gave me all those guidelines just to give me a stupid answer like that, I would be hella agigated. A little kindness goes a long way.

Nobody is forcing her to do anything she doesn't want. If she didn't want to answer any questions, she should've said so from the beginning. Instead she leads the poor interviewer on, who obliges to her stupid requests and then she doesn't even have a decency to give a sentence or two back?

It's really not worth arguing with some members here who - judging by their posting history in other threads - hate EVERYTHING Arizona Muse does.

This is just a tiny story blown way out of proportion. If you guys knew how many times models ask what questions will be asked, especially if it's in front of a camera, so they can prepare their answers a bit. And how many times they ask for quick questions because they have to leave of another show etc. I doubt many of you were ever backstage.

It's not like she was rude, angry or mean to the interviewer like certain other models. This thread lacks real juicy gossip.

I don't think it was inappropriate at all, what Arizona Muse did.

If anything is inappropriate, it is ambush journalism, asking permission
while already recording for an unschedule and on-the-spot interview.

...and those oh-so-vital questions they missed out on:
-List of shows you're walking in.
-Favourite past campaigns.
-What do you like about New York?

C'mon! As though they expected those softball questions would garner anything
more than the typical softball responses. I think most of us would roll our
eyes if before class, someone came up to us with a recorder running asking:

What assignments do you have coming up?
What do you like about your favourite teacher?
What is one thing you like about the neighbourhood?

:yuk: PASS! ...and I applaud Arizona for, and in a polite way, passing also.

As I was reading what everyone one else said about the interview I started to feel the same way, negatively, but I read it and it wasn't even all that -_-
People need to remember that models are humans, and humans have feelings. HA
