Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

Vivi needs to know we are only tuned in for the 2000s drama, I don't care about her reiterating what everyone else said about Gigi at the VSFS

I think Viviane was told she was the next Giselle one too many times when she was 16 and has been in a state of arrested development since.
none of those 'the next [insert famous model's name here]' ever achieved or surpassed the reputation of the one they were compared to except Cindy Crawford who was called 'baby Gia' back in her day (and part of that is admittedly to do with Gia's addiction and death at a very young age).

It sure is a bit humiliating. Imagine losing twice to a tik tok clown Consani.
Well, the jury is to blame for pushing the progressive/woke narrative of "she’s the first […] to win this award," rather than basing their decisions solely on merit. The Fashion Awards have always been a mess when it comes to their choice of MOTY winners over the years anyway. Speaking of MOTY, I wonder why the CFDA decided to remove this category from their ceremony in recent years.

For me, it was either Amelia Gray or Anok. They had a great year.
But then maybe Anok should have had more class and let the girl enjoy her win.

I don’t know if Rianne or Vittoria who have been on the top of their game for years have won an award yet.

The real success, the recognition is booking campaigns, walking shows and having a long lasting career and that’s the least we can wish for her!

She is so right, I can't stand tik tok kids defending Alex Consani who is new to the high fashion game. I had so much hope for Anok, she has had an impact in the modeling industry, this year alone she got 2 Vogue France covers, 1 Vogue Italia and 1 British Vogue adding the Elle and Harper's Bazaar. Not to mention her numerous big campaigns, the british fashion council is a joke.

Cara won the award twice, Paloma won it last year, Gigi has won it. It’s goofy for a model of Anok’s caliber to even be invested. I mean, she’s human and we all like validation, so it’s understandable. But she certainly doesn’t need the award and getting pressed about it seems beneath her.

I agree that her attitude comes off as quite cheap but I wonder if all this backlash over such a small dig is really necessary.
It seems like Gen Z is overly sensitive and has no tolerance for divas these days. I can’t even imagine how they would have handled real divas like Naomi whose behavior used to make headlines almost every other week back in the day.

Snejana thinks she's some big supermodel and is living through her "glory" days. I always found her pretty overrated, she burned out rather quickly. Not to mention the cheap rumours she made up on facebook (2015) about Natasha. A contradiction to her story.
