awaiting Givenchy

Does anyone know how they managed to turn their show into such a casting bonanza? Its like one season it was just another Parisian show and the next its one of the most watched. B/c of Adriana?

Personally speaking I started looking forward to it after Adriana made her entry. It was such a shocker, seeing a VS girl walk a hf runway. I am assuming a lot of others felt the same way. It definitely started the trend.

Yes, it was fall 2006, the first looks all went to black girls, with Liya opening, and Kinée and Naomi also walking.

Well Givenchy has always been a great show to walk no doubt, but I don't think there was this much hoopla surrounding Givenchy until fairly recently, maybe because of all the MDC/Imagist commentary?

Several Asian models;
Ai being there is noteworthy;
Has Anna Maria Jagodzinska done a show this season(?), if not that is noteworthy;
What else?

^^Yep, first show in two seasons for AMJ. And freaking Ling Tan!

No hoopla, really. All I said was that Tisci and co. are in their own world as always - the casting is quite diverse (Great mix of old, established, and new as well as ethnically) and doesn't reflect on any previous trend this season.
