Interesting development, considering Russell's androgynous FW10 army (Julia Nobis, Carla G, Kirsi, Ann Kenny, Othilia...). I can't wait to see the final cast, though I'm disappointed that certain personal favourites won't make it this season.

I don't think you can always hold a casting director responsible for the direction of the casting. It's more like they cater to the designer's preference.
I wonder who will be there from the usual cast while Miuccia changes her preferences to make her statement. Models are humans, I thought that was supposed to be the message by the CFDA?

I don't believe it's 100% that the VS girls will be walking the show yet - they'll still have to undergo the same fittings and scrutiny (Of sorts) even if they arrived via special request. But A+ goes to Miuccia for spicing things up, that's for sure.

Come on, Ale, Miranda and Doutzen are in Milan. It's confirmed Ale is walking in PFW and she Tweeted that she was heading to Milan so it's probably to walk. And then TI's rumor. It makes sense. I'm 100% that at least those three are walking. I wasn't so sure until that rumor came out. And I won't be surprised if KK and Adriana show up because for one, KK has been in the gym like every single day and hasn't looked like she does (body wise) since like 2002 and if Adriana wanted to make a comeback this would be the time and her agency (Marilyn) seems to be on a roll with some of their other girls. Not to mention I asked them not too long ago and they said and I quote 'Maybe '. It could be nothing though. Anyway, I'm excited either way!

Miuccia is a bit late on the whole casting of 'commercial girls' isnt she? Givenchy started the whole thing for Fall 2009, Balenciaga continued it with Miranda Kerr. By the way, I think Miranda is walking Balenciaga again this season; it was confirmed by her agent in Australia.

Besides, am I the only one annoyed by this whole casting spectacle? To me, this kind of attention grabing casting detracts from the collection. And call me old-fashioned, but I like my Prada casting to be very avant-garde-typical-Russell-typical-Meisel girls.

Besides, if these girls are being cast because they coordinate well with the collection, I'm scared to see what Prada is going to show tonight!

Of course they are in town (No one is doubting that right now) - but the nature of Prada and its shows is always just that - absolutely unpredictable (e.g. Cancelling girls from backstage at the actual show, even if they're dressed in a look already). I would LOVE to see all of the girls/women walk, trust me, but until they actually show up on the runway I wouldn't be celebrating in any individual threads just yet

And sorry, but I can tell you 100% that Adriana won't be there tomorrow...
