Model Casting F/W 14.15

Is this Kendall the new Cara? It's like they always need to find another celebrity to be the next big thing. What's next? Courtney Love's daughter?

Sean Penn's daughter seems like she is gaining momentum as well as the Gigi from Real Housewives of Beverley Hills. Next girls to be everywhere in fashion soon

I really like Montana, but my first thought when I saw her in the show was that they booked her because she was willing to dye her hair. I'm really disappointed about not seeing Riley and Maria, but the cast has had some great highlights.

Or because she fit what they were looking for? I feel like any model would dye their hair for a show of a similar caliber (e.g. Prada dyed the hair of every single model for the spring 2014 show).

Is John Galliano still counted as a relevant, A-list show? The opener bored me so much.

The fact that Riley and Maria, two of the campaign girls, weren't there but Kendall Jenner was blows my F****** mind. Riccardo, you should be ashamed of yourself.

True. And why hate on Montana and then praise Kate G. I dont think their contests define who they are now. They're legit models who've worked hard to be where they are right now.

I'm going to put this out there for you TFSers and see what you all think.

Many of you are saying that it was unjust that Riley and Maria were left out of the runway show despite having been in the campaign. A fair statement.

But what about the times when models who have loyally appeared in runway shows and are often muses to the designers, never receive a campaign at all. Is that fair?

Personally, it is unfortunate both of them that they weren't in the show HOWEVER it does not diminish them as beautiful models nor undermine their achievements this runway season. The fact they were chosen to be in the campaign speaks volumes.

Also, the comments about Montana Cox I think is not appropriate. She is a legitimate model who had a great debut season and is constantly working in Australia. Her 'cycle' finished 3 years ago so any novelty of her being a winner has most definitely worn off.

So many shows in Paris with no asian models in the line up.

No, its not at all. This is essentially the relationship between Daiane and Miuccia. She walks every Prada/Miu Miu show and not once is given a campaign or any sort. I feel like if you walk a show consistently for more than half a decade, the designer would love you enough to have you do more work for the brand. Of course this is Prada we are talking about, who recycle models like its nothing, but I feel like Daiane is a special case. She's not really a supermodel in any sense, but she definitely has a long list of clients who are extremely faithful to her. I'm only using her as an example though, and there are most definitely more girls out there with this kind of relationship that are kind of shoved into the "filler" category for a certain designer they have a relationship with.

Sacai was so bland, Karl Templer is actually the worst.
