Kind of shocked at the Donna Karan Cast. I never thought the newbies would completely take over the show, there were barely any top models!

The finale of Donna Karan was pretty interesting with Hilary and Karolina, but I'm always surprised at the lack of diversity considering the DKNY cast.

Is it just me or are some of the casting choices really weird this year? What's with all the non-descript platinum blondes? Also I notice a lot of shows are jam-packed with cool/big girls but no distinct casting vision.

Even if the big girls showed up at the end of the show, Donna Karan felt so lacklustre. The overall cast was a bunch of newbies; it just didn't feel right. John could have casted some good, established models like Jac, Zuzanna, Nadja...but nope. He did a great job casting DVF but Donna Karan was a let down. Hopefully he doesn't make Michael Kors a newbie overload.

I couldn't care less about the last two, especially Esther (major yawn), but Katya is such a force on the runway. I hope it speeds up for her in Paris and Milan. She's always such a stand out at Gucci and Versace amongst others.

I know I was never much a fan of Esther but her absence is a little startling.

I strongly agree about Katya, it could be because of the recent agency change. I hope she remains strong in Milan and Paris. Any news if she's finally going to London? Since she's with a stronger agency there now.

I'm kinda surprised at how mediocre Nadja's showlist has been so far. A no-show at Prabal, Donna Karan, DVF, Alexander Wang, etc. I'm confident she'll pick up steam in Milan & Paris, but her absence in NY is pretty shocking imo.

Personally I don't think Katya's season is HORRIBLE, as some of you said. In spite of my love to Katya I should admit she hasn't got a significant campaign after her s/s 14 season (we don't count Ck fragrance because it was shot after Fall 2013). No important print works, I don't even say about covers. That's why booking some good shows is still relevant for her and that means success, because even though she is not so popular as Sasha, she is there and delivers strong walk and presence at runway.

NY is just not Katya's market, but tbh Paris isn't either. So I hope she slays in Milan.

This season marks the fall of some other models as well.
