not really. Eugenia already returned to the runway, I think she was in one of the smaller couture shows . So the effect isn't the same as Gemma. Has nothing to do with it being Prada.

God the cast at versace is boring. Runway filler and house favs that Mert and Marcus will never put in the campaign.

I think it's combination of Gemma and Prada. The whole thing was overhyped though.

Anyway, I don't think Eugenia would cause the same stir. She's been doing smaller jobs here and there. Gemma had been MIA completely the last few years. Plus, Gemma's achieved a more iconic status than Eugenia.

I'm fascinated by the career trajectory of Valery Kaufman. Just a couple seasons ago, she seemed like yesterday's news and was on her way out, walking mostly B shows. Now, starting last season and again this season, she's in all the A list shows. How do you explain something like that?

What's going on with Vanessa Axente? She wasn't even at Calvin Klein in New York, but made appearances at Altuzarra & Hugo Boss. Then she skips all of London & probably all of Milan. Does she have some sort of exclusive in Paris? I also hope Karmen picks up the pace in Paris. Joan too, but I know they don't have to do that many shows anymore.

Vanessa Moody opening Versace was such a random choice. At least MCB saved it a bit by closing. Dreadful cast though but no suprise, Versace totally lost it.

It is the same girls in every show. I thought the girls would change based on the collection. I mean I could do it. Let's see.....

Fei fei, Ondria, Anna Ewers, Leila,
Ok so that's 15. Throw in Nobis or Wixson or Hanne then maybe one big name and voila!

Versace shows will never live up to what they used to be. If they cast actual Versace women, it's usually one or two in a sea of awkward edgy girls. It's never going to be like the mid-2000s when every single girl was a runway star.

This season has been so weird. Even the established girls with contracts (like Vanessa and Karmen) have been having trouble it seems. The Vanessa situation is so weird. Did she really graduate or is she still in school? Someone said she finished, but based on some of her IG posts it appears she's still in high school.
