Model Casting S/S 15

I believe Top Shows should be called Key Shows. Some of the shows listed is not that important though, like who pays attention to who walks Emporio Armani, & current Margiela? It does not have to depend on the casting director really but a combination of a hot brand + cool casting. Coach is not really a hot brand even if they cast all supermodels in their show. A key show should be where a model's career can be launched by opening the show or even just cast in the show.

I do believe Donna Karan should be in the list though because people do look forward to see the gorgeous girls at her show.

Waleska is like the new Julia Nobis. She doesn't have a lot of fans, but she's reliable and has a good walk. And there's something really charming about her. I wish her beauty would translate better in runway photos, she's so stunning in real life.

Julia has alot of fans...if only for the fact that people appreciate she's a workhorse.

She used to get a lot of slack but the haters eventually shut up. I think she's one of the mosr versatile girls around.

I know you were not. I was just referring to the comments Ive seen of her from many of the posts in the other threads especially in her editorials or campaigns. Maybe I misread it as you implying she has not many fans because of it. I think she has a cool icy look.

glad to see all the Ralph Lauren vets still walking (Vlada, Bruna, Valentina, etc.) Not a fan of Maartje closing the show, no matter how beautiful she looked. It didn't make sense, she looks like a 15 year old. Isn't Ralph Lauren a more mature brand?

Not really impressed by any of the newcomers so far in NY. I would've not thought Maartje would do so well after walking a few seasons. I find her very pretty but something tells me I'm going to be bored. For her second season, Kate Grigoreva is the only one I'm rooting for. She has everything a supermodel needs. Gotta love a more mature girl, also.
I hope to see Veroniek Gielkens anytime soon!

Not really impressed by any of the newcomers so far in NY.

I'm not too wowed by the newbies either. Most of them seem like the basic copy & paste runway fillers that will disappear in 2 or 3 seasons. I hope we get some really stunners in Milan. Gucci will probably have 1 or 2 really great girls, & Prada has been making stars out of their openers lately.

I don't think I've noticed any brand new (as in: had runway debuts this week) girls in NYC that I like, which is weird, there's usually 1 or 2.
