I'm curious about BCBG as well, it's usually the biggest casting and it kicks off NYFW...

I didn't mention its relevance, Im just saying it was terribly miscasted. 80% of the girls did not connect to the looks and the styling in any way shape or form. It ended up looking like a dressup pyjama party on acid.

I think it would look like a pajama party on acid no matter who was there.


Anyway, I'm looking forward to London. New York was kind of underwhelming.

Marc Jacobs was easily the worst casting of the week.

They really know how to do a hideous casting for hideous clothes, don't they? Katie Grand has to go.

There were several girls on MJ who doesnt fit the (ugly) clothes. What a bad cast.

MJ cast was basically MiuMiu from last season....
I enjoy most of it because of the great walkers but i prefer James Scully-cast shows.
MJ was bit expected...

TBH I think she was type-casting for RL. There were other girls she would NEVER have cast for Prada or Proenza.

If Hailey Baldwin gets taken seriously in Milan and Paris and starts booking shows like Versace and Chanel, I swear I'll be done with fashion. I expect we'll see her at Balmain, since Olivier loves instagirls.

Hailey will more than likely be at Moschino but I'm hoping no one else has her walk for them. She's too short and commercial.

Fendi & Chanel are very likely since she already did Karl's brand campaign.

Honestly after the great Miu Miu horror last season i've sorta given up on anything related to instagirls & bih show bookings.

Well Karl does love his instagirls and tends to like shorter girls as well. All signs are leading to yes for fendi and/or Chanel, but we'll have to wait and see

Karl, Donatella, Marc, Jeremy, Katie Grand... they all loooove Instagirls. So expect to see them at all of their shows.

Burberry was awful. I only recognized a handful of girls.

I really don't mind instagirls at Chanel or Fendi. We have been used to it...Even more at Chanel than at Fendi. Chanel castings are always about Karl's favorite, some veterans, some of "girls of the moment" (Mica, Lineisy...etc.) and then the social media stars. Back then, he only had Cara. Nowadays, the choice is endless!

Mali is soo boring. Charlee Fraser is very unforgettable as well. And yes, I realise I am not supposed to say that because she is the first Aboriginal to make it on the international scene. While I think that is fantastic, I just don't find her special.

I feel like there was a period where we produced a lot of great models in Australia but we haven't put anyone good on the runway in a while.
