It is your ear though most places allow one stud per ear no? Thats how I am going to try and get around it iof anyone says anythingat work.

^ not really. we have 2 human resource managers who look for pretty much anything unacceptable...they're very keen. i think women can get by with multiple lobe piercings, but nothing excessive (maybe no more than 2 per ear?) men: no. i'd be disappointed if i did get it pierced, and then i'd have to remove it at work...so i'm going to hold off for now.

I got my tongue pierced just over three days ago. The piercing itself isn't that bad, it was just like a super hard pinch. It's the healing that's been painful. The swelling is driving me mad and the pain is annoying. I feel a bit sick because I'm having trouble getting food down. Later on my brother and I are going out for sundaes and milkshakes. It'll be good to have something in my tummy.

i really want to get my tragus pierced but my mother thinks its too dangerous a place...grrr. i don't turn 18 until november. thats a long time.

I need to get my ears redone. I got them when I was seven and they closed up a short while after because I wore too big of earrings and had to take them out. I think I am the only 23 year old I know without pierced ears and only a pierced belly button.

it's about time dear. take the plunge! just make sure if you go for only one piercing in the lobes that it's properly centered.

A while back, I was piercings crazy. I currently have 4 earlobe piercings on my left ear, 2 earlobe & an industrial on my right, and a nose piercing. I used to have anti-brows and an eye-brow piercing, and gauges in my ear lobes down to a 2.

The anti-brows and eye-brow which I no longer have. Eyebrow piercings are pretty much painless... I wouldn't say the same for the anti-brows or industrial though.

^ Thanks! The anti-brow piercing is just a regular ol' surface piercing in that certain area. Some people get them perpendicular and slightly lower (more to the bottom diagonal) than the position I have. They're a lot harder to take care of than normal piercings, unfortunately. :c

^maybe...i think you might be able to pull off a nose stud...a little diamond on your face would just make you even more sparkly

the anti-brow and lower jaw piercings are really inspiring...i'm in such a foul mood with work and the conservative atmosphere, i'd love to walk in with one of those... everyone with the tragus piercing is making me jealous too...if i grow my hair out a little bit i could at least cover it up for work.

sounds like such a sacrifice but i think it is nice that an older generation can appreciate body piercings. thinking of getting anything else done?

i considered getting my tongue done but 3 of my friends got it in one week and the novelty wore off

and 6 of my cousins have their belly buttons done so im bored of that too, i dont think i want my more peircings coz it hard to get ones that are timeless, because im pakistani the nose stud looks more elegant on me and will probably not look silly when im older
