ha ha ha i've done my reading and seen the pictures when you go too fast so i know its going to be painfully slow stretching up:doh:

i already have my eyes on the plugs i want no flesh tunnels for me there black gems set in surgical steel with o rings on the end very pretty plain black ones will be in order though til i get to the size i want and get those bad boys.

i'd post a picture but the site is copywrite so heres the link http://www.arka-shop.co.uk/acatalog/flesh-tunnels-flesh-tubes.html

scroll down and they are the Black Gem Flesh Plugs SFTGEMB

beautiful :crush:  .. stop temping me to stretch again haha :P they are lovely though

ah the things that can happen when boredem strikes!

i'll be sure to post the strange adventures of jabbing those tapers into my ears when they arrive... why did i order offline when im so impatient when it comes to matters of body modification:lol:

I stretched my ear wholes but finally got ride of them because I figured that when wanted to go natural without jewelry well I was pretty much stuck with it!
But I think that I had found a plug flesh color and not see through (like a tunnel) I would have kept them.

^^^ i've seen quite a few flesh coloured plugs online:flower:

well the tapers are in and i must say ouch:doh: i hate that burning throbbing sensation! and going from nothing to 2mm looks like nothing but it still hurts, this is going to be long and boring i'll be waiting a month before another stretch. i wonder at what size my mum will actually notice :shifty:

Hah, probably depends on how you wear your hair, etc.
I've never had plugs/tunnels but I was onto my fifth ear piercing (including two cartilage, and only in my right ear) before my mum noticed anything.

Good luck with stretching...it will indeed be long and boring but at least it'll give you something to look forward to!

^^^ when i got my tragus and anti tragus it took her ages to notice them:lol:

i have short hair that nowhere covers my ears and im wearing tapers which i would have thought would be totally noticable ah well its probably best if she doesnt.

Has anyone had one reopened? It hurts much worse than the initial piercing, doesn't it? I almost fainted at the time.

Do cartilage piercings heal easily (in general)?

^^ When I got my cartilage done it was fine intially, then it got infected and was a mess on and off from then on....in the end I took it out because it was just so much effort trying to stop it getting nasty again. But I didn't look after mine like you're supposed to because I'd had four lobe piercings and a lip ring before that and they'd all healed up fine, without me having to do any messing around with disinfectant and stuff.
Moral of the story: do what they say about cartilage piercings!!

^ I guess compared to say getting your earlobe pierced it's more likely there'll be a problem, but I think it's probably done to where you go to get it done and how good you are about cleaning it etc…. I know quite a few people who've had that done without any problems.

reopened why wouldnt they just repierce it:ninja:

i supose it depends where you get your cartilage pierced some places are thicker than others my tragus was ok but my anti tragus where the cartilage is thicker on my ear was swollen for along time no gunk or anything just sore. and i must say please get cartilage done with a needle i had the top of my ear done with a gun (i know but i did it before i actually had it done before i did my reading up on piercings) and it just caused a whole load of problems would heal so i just took it out.

It was like... stretching. I had an offset labret piercing where the jewerly was removed for a couple days, and I assumed a piercer would instruct me to wait until it healed completely and get it repierced... But the hole was still open, and reopening (enough to fit the jewelry) meant just a few days of healing, luckily. -_- (This--the large ring--is what I want; I don't know what it's called...)

i thought they were trying to torture you:lol:

i'd call that piercing a conch but i love how on that one the large ring so it goes around the ear.

Does anyone have ears pierced from top to bottom (excuse me for lack of technical terms..) like Fergie Ferg?

I'm just really curious.

cato. i have 6 holes up one of my ears but i dont put jewerly in all of them and i dont think i'd put matching hoops all the way up. im sure alot of people have multiple ear piercings.

^ Oh I see.

Yeah, what Fergie did is very unattractive. It looks quite juvenile to wear the watching earrings in all your holes.

^ agreed. I have 4 holes in my right ear (it used to be 5, but I took the main cartilage piercing out) and I never ever match the earrings....I think it looks really odd. I stick to a rough theme, though - like, at the minute I have a silver hoop, a silver stud, a (fake, sadly) diamond stud and a pearl stud....they're not the same, but they look really good all together.

would anyone who's had a navel ring rejection share their story? Is it true that repiercing makes it less likely to happen again?
