Prada SS 08 is really like a modern take on vintage! I just love the dresses

I do really appreciate those dresses with the fairy prints, so soft and romantic. Especially the last few outfits.
And the shoes are incredible, too!

I think this collection can be wearable, one piece at a time. I love the detail for the neckline, very interesting...maybe inspired by Chinese cheongsam dresses?

I agree, when I first saw this collection, I really didnt get it at all! But, now after seeing all the clothes, shoes and bags in the ad campaigns with sasha, i have totally changed my opinion, and am kind of loving all the clashing mad prints now!

I'm not feeling this collection at all, esp those silk sets at the begining of the show. Looks like cheap Chinese PJ's that you can get for $10. =(

^^I agree about the technical aspects. When I read about it they talked about how it would have the same feeling of hand drawn Disney cartoons of the 40's and 50's, like the fairies in "Fantasia." And I was really looking forward to it and I was expecting James Jean to actually hand draw all the animation...so I was really disappointed with it being computer animated....and very amateur looking at that.
