Wallette is having a great first season. Really happy for her and hopefully it will last..
I just wish the industry had more diversity and more constancy in supporting models of colour. You see models of colour, especially new faces, having a major moment and then slowly fade away. It is really sad. I mean it can happen to basically all the models, but I feel like when casting directors and designers look for models to put in the campaign, if they want a model of color, it is better if she is new.

For example, this season where is Imaan (who is one of the best models at the moment and should be everywhere)? Where is Dilone, when last season had so many campaigns? Where is Lineisy, who is always one of the top catwalkers? Aya, Malaika, Tami, Ysaunny, Selena Forrest.. And I could go on and on. I know not every campaign is out, but I think this is still a big issue in fashion.

I don't think Ralph Lauren will have a campaign. It was a See Now, Buy Now collection like Tom Ford and Burberry. Having a campaign this late makes no sense.

Don't forget there was the Ralph Lauren Iconic campaign which also featured Vittoria.

In terms of the buy now wear now brands they only advertise when the season begins. So we'll be getting Burberry and Tom Ford's Spring Campaigns in the March issues shortly after the collections are presented. I must say, I'm not a fan of this. It's throwing everything for a loop.
