i ALWAYS love scarves, i can never have enough and keep buying them season after season.......i think they will never really be out, they are just classic and stylish....

^ well said liberty, I see scarves as a CLASSIC must have, just to keep warm.... I really don't see this as a trend.....

Are you talking about a particular type of scarf that is trendy!?

^ Agree with you, ladies.

The scarf is a classic, winter essential in my book. Great that it's considered a fashion statement, though.

scarfs are a huge trend in finland. people wear big scarfs indoors with t-shirts.. not sure how trendy it is, but that's what happends here

yeah here it's not a trend, it's just another necessity. of course there are always particular types of scarves that are trendier than others...

Personally, I love scarves. But I want them big. I'm not a fan of Burberrys' long über-thin scarves F/W 05 RTW. Looks more like a rope if you ask me..

I agree, they're not very functional, especially if it's actually COLD. I quite like big scarves, like chunky knit scarves or a brilliant big woolen tartan scarf... and this type of scarf does seem to be more predominent this autumn. also fairisle patterned scarves seem to be popular.:flower:

weren't skinny scarves a big trend a while ago?

I agree with you completely... I love my scarves because they keep me nice and WARM.

since there's no scarf-worthy weather here, I have no preference over thin or thick ones. I do like the thick ones to be chunky and waaaaay long. There was this look a while back with the skinny scarf all shiny/with beads/sorta metallic over dressy tops or shirts for evening; I quite liked that.

 scarves , you can never have too many ...

i love them :buzz:

although i have to admit :innocent:
i buy so many but i never really wear them

A scarf can help an outfit to not look boring or plain, therefor I don't think it will ever be out to wear scarves with certain outfits.

i agree with some of you, scarves were always a trend here, never a necessity with our usual 80 degrees. unless you´re ill, of course. :D

i really like the thick ones but i´d feel a little guillotined. :p

I loooooooooooove scarves! Your all covered up in the winter & its the one thing you can really have fun with to brighten up & change your look.

What do you all think of the fur scarves?

i have a favorite scarf,

as well as a few from france.

theyre an underused accessory here, but vital. it's already 40-45 degrees during the day. :: freezes ::..
