Scott Schuman (The Sartorialist) and Garance Dore

From the Feb issue of Interview

VOIGHT: Your boyfriend, Scott Schuman, has his own blog, The Sartorialist. How did you meet, and what’s it like doing the same job as the love of your life?

DORÉ: Did you know both Grazia UK and The Guardian voted us the coolest couple? So we’re at the top of coolitude. We met each other during Paris Fashion Week three years ago. I think he fell in love with me very quickly. In general I don’t like meeting the people I admire, but when we met, we found we had a lot in common. We’re both laughing all the time. He opened my mind and showed me so many things. I told him I took pictures, but I was an illustrator. He was the first one to say, “You have an eye, you have everything you need, and you’re going to be a big photographer.” My blog was a year old, and I had never published a photograph. In fact, he bought me the camera I use now, and that was before he was even my boyfriend. Now, we travel together, but our work is very different. I always seem to fall in love with the people I shoot, and Scott is very focused. He says that he sees his photo, and I create mine.
The top of coolitude. Oh yes, indeed

Oh god

Now SHE sounds like a flaky, narcissistic, idiot as well. FHL.

She should not speak. She doesn't not come across well at all. These two deserve eachother.

omg, this is the gift that keeps giving.... I always laugh so hard after visiting this thread. You guys are hilarious!!

I doubt she said that with any seriousness, it sounds like one if her dizzy joke.
She isn't the cleverest person (as evidenced by her blog) but you guys sound like a hoard of wolf waiting to rip her off at any opportunity.

The rest of the t*t-bit is nothing special: she gets asked about her relationship, she tells how they met and that he supports her work. Groundbreaking.

i do agree!
i've never read garance use that word "coolitude" without sarcasm, irony, whatev...

I dunno. In that Globe and Mail interview that got everyone on this thread so annoyed, I think he was just taking the pi**! Honestly I think he thought he was being funny and it didn't translate.

Also I have to say, all the comments about him being short are really off side. If people want to comment on his arrogance or whatever, fine, but slagging the guy because he's shorter than average is a bit pathetic in my opinion.

Not when he think he's God's gift to the world. And managed to make Garance believe it as Well.

Quite a statement, considering these threads are amassed with people who go nuts when a hemline is shorter/off side/longer than average or expected... a bit pathetic an outsider would say.
There's nothing wrong with saying they are not a cute couple. She is perfectly gorgeous and he is.... not so perfectly anything.
"what the multi billion dollar industry is all about... (DevilWearsPrada anyone?)... inner beauty!!!"

Him and his Napoleon attitude is a whole different story, which i don't like.

Both their work on magazines and their websites is a whole different story, which i do (most of the time anyway...)
