shopsmuch said:Okay, I'm not in the modeling industry at all (at least not yet!) but from what I gather, they fudge height measurments more than bust-waist-hip measurements. I mean I'm sure they might mess with them a little bit, but overall not that much. Since most models are US 2-4, I think, they won't be any larger than 35-25-35. Like you said, if they are larger, they won't fit into samples, etc... But I don't think you will have a problem!! By the looks of your photos, you are certainly thin enough!
you were proably reading about my experience at major model management. My scars also are very, very faint, and in not that noticeable places, and could be photoshopped out pretty easily, but she pinpointed them immediately. I might have mentioned this before but she said that models need to be flawless so scars weren't acceptable. I don't know if that's how it is with other agencies, but that's how it was at major.
Once again, I'm not in the industry but from what I gather, I think it depends on how much the agency likes you. I have heard of so many people turned away from agencies because they are "too fat". But if the agency thinks you have the potential to be the next Gisele or Daria, then they might sign you and have you work on losing a few pounds. But once again...you look to be skinny enough now! It seems hard to believe you have 36.5 hips...not to give offense or anything, but are you sure you're getitng that measurement properly?
I sure don't see any visible overbite!![]()
Good luck!![]()
Thanks, you helped answer my questions a lot! Thanks to yourbestfriend too.
As for model weight, I have seen a lot of models' weights as being around 115. Weight really has nothing to do with thinness though, I have a 5'11" friend who weighs 140 and is just as thin, if not thinner, than I am, while I weight 130 and am taller than her. Weight really doesn't matter.

I just sent in pics through email to Stam's mother agency. Ahhh. I've never actually taken concrete steps towards modeling before. I don't even know why I did it because I'm not particularly interested in that agency. The only Canadian one I'm really interested in is Mode and possibly Elmer Olsen's agency, not Michele's International Models. I don't really expect a reply though haha, their website isn't very... updated looking or organized or professional looking. I just really want to get a pro opinion and stuff. Ahhh. If they actually reply and are interested I don't know what I'm going to do lol. I actually hope it's a rejection now lol. I was going to email Mode, but I can't upload pics right now and I don't have the kind of snapshots they want on my computer at the moment...
