Thakoon for Target

I got the striped blue and green long-sleeve top and that colorful print coat. I was hesitant about the coat but I was trying it on in the mirror and a lady walked by and said "That coat looks great!" So of course I had to get it

I'm a sucker for those light coats that you can layer things under. I plan to belt the Thakoon coat.

Okay, I've been to three different Targets and they all had extremely different stocks i.e. only one of the Targets I went to had any swimsuits. I don't think it's that some Targets were more shopped out than the others. I think this time around different Targets got different amounts of the collection and some Targets just didn't get certain items.

Here's my paranoid theory: Target is preparing for the McQueen launch. Target has already said that only certain stores will get the whole McQueen collection. So I think they started playing around with the stocks each store gets.

Has anyone else noticed that different Target stores are getting different amounts of the Thakoon collection?

we didn't get the print coat at my target I almost bought one of the print dresses but decided forty dollars was too much for a cotton dress.

i think every target store gets different amounts of items.

some target stores may have had the collections out for weeks already (not every target adheres to the "release dates") and thus may be depleted. Super Targets and Target Greatlands will always get more of the collections as well.

That's good to know. I think I'll check out one or two other Targets to see what they have. But I did buy the blue and white print cardigan. I really really like it! It's a great pick-me-up for the winter. Does anyone know how long it will be before they start putting Thakoon items on sale?

i think i'm gonna try to stop by target sometime soon but am wondering if this is worth checking out...

i bought the cyber floral print blouse, but i think i'm returning it for the dress. at the time, the blouse was the only thing my target had, and i DEFINITELY wanted something in that print (it's the perfect safe departure piece if you live in black), so i bought it, but i spotted the dress the other night.

i haven't tried it on, but i plan on cinching it with the am ap wide belt in black.

in about 1 1/2 months the thakoon will be on sale. if you want to wait, check the target site then. when the last digit of the prices is a 4 (as $6.84, etc.), that means it has reached final markdowns and is at the lowest discount possible.

Chrissym, the quality of the cardigan is perfectly fine. I wore it today, and a couple of people complimented me and asked about it. Frankly, I love it. That type of print is just my style, it has an Asian/Indian vibe about it.

I ordered the shibori print cardigan in navy, the floral tie front skirt, and Shibori woven dress in ebony in fear that they would sell out. Then I went to a Target storefront and found everything I had purchased. I had to return it all because I ordered everything in a size too big. Luckily, I was able to to find the dress at a storefront. I no longer want the cardigan or the skirt. The cardigan is a bit too short for my taste and I know I will get bored of the floral skirt fast.

i went to a target near my parents' house in south jersey, and they had everything (except for the one black/floral print bathing suit that i wanted)...
i tried on the blue/green colorblock dress and it looked horrible...
the other thing i wanted, the tie-dyed t-shirt was very boxy...
guess i'll be getting this on sale like everyone else...

That's true, I went to a different Target today by my job and tried on one of the sleeveless t shirts. It was kind of boxy, I didn't buy it.

me too, i looove the shibori dress and the colorblock dress but at those prices definitely no, it's clearance rack for me (I hope)
