Well I just saw the new Gucci cast. While I'm a fan of the some of the boys in the show, I sure will miss Baptiste Radufe, Ben Allen, Clement Chabernaud, Tommaso de Benedictis, Janis Ancens, Adrien Sahores, Arthur Gosse and the rest of the pretty boys who were favorites of Frida. The Gucci show was always such a joy to watch because of them.

I just can't with this overhaul. I think it is important to keep house staples for the shows. More and more we are seeing adolescent boys walking in uber-expensive MENswear.

They didn't keep a single model who worked with Frida. I'm pretty sure the cast will be whitewashed too during the womens wear show.

Prada's opener and closer and some of the Gucci boys were.. awful to say the least.

I agree with Pricciao it definitely felt like Prada didn't have as many new face exclusives, at some point they had far too many. I also agree with anlabe32, for a collection that was quite simple for the most part picking those "not so conventional" looking models was not the best move.

They did keep Elvis Jankus at Gucci, maybe he's the fit model that would explain it, and even if I don't like the outcome it does make sense to change the usual faces if you're going to change direction. But I think this time it went in the wrong one.

We really have to admire Philipp Plein for having the money for to hire the best models available, and then putting them in the tackiest clothes we will probably see this entire month. I swear his clothes were made for Justin Bieber.

There are some Fielding Lewis lookalikes this season, but interesting they didn't show up at Prada. Mees Visser, Trevor Feehan, Gabriel Marques, Erin Mommsen...

Apparently, Lucky Blue Smith is the new male version of Cara Delevingne.

Thomas Penfound and Benjamin Jarvis both have had that blond rave, we'll see if he'll be a Cara past campaign season.

i found that he was kind of loud and in your face..not how i expected! he also looks much better in photographs..tbh i wouldn't have noticed him but i saw his call sheet for his shows

This season, I notice there's not so many of typical European look boys, and sudden increase in Slimane-esque boys (who look very very weird) in big shows like Prada & Kris van Assche.

Interesting about Felix G., from backstage photos I always thought him to be a bit over the top. Isn't Paris dating another super young male model..

I noticed that to Ed. Not feeling it, I will never understand the appeal of Slimane's boys.

Lanvin used a lot of faces I've never seen before, but the casts look great. Can have more black models though.

Since the shows are over, overall for me, casting is weird for FW15. No newcomer really shines in terms of number of shows. They all did almost similar number. Top newcomers from previous season are not doing well either. Seems like every model has had equal opportunity. Also, strange choices of opening & closing models.

I agree that there seems to be an influx of "weird" looking guys...it's fine for Hedi's shows I guess, but it's not appealing at all. I'm missing all the typically hot guys. It seems like Riccardo is the only one casting sexy male models, but he puts them in some weird clothes and hair/makeup.

I also wish there would be a greater presence of Asian male models. It was refreshing to see one actually open a show too (Margiela).

These seasons have been in the same situation for a year or two. Tons of newbies, very few of them can stay because casting directors don't stick to a few.

Lucky Blue, Sven de Vries, Justin Gossman, Abu Hussein, Alexander Yoshii, Carl Hjelm Sandqvist, Joel Felix, Jino Chun, Takuya Ebihara, and Erik Van Gils are some particular standout newcomers to me. Victor Hansen can't get to do more shows is such a shame.
But, seriously, Matthew Bell, Sylvester Ulv, Abiah Hostvedt and Ben Allen, where the hell are they?

I wonder what happened to Abel and Tommaso (well, in Paris). I rarely spotted them this season.
