The H&M Thread

Clothing sizes are just odd all around, it's my conclusion seeing I can fit well a size 6 cargo jacket (H&M) yet a size 4 in another fall jacket (H&M) with just enough looseness for sweaters and such. It all depends on the cut I think.... one would hope anyway

Picked up a fall jacket and I love the golden buttons, I think it's what sold me on it and the price wasn't far too bad either.

I concur about the weird sizing! I got two pairs of size 46 (US 36) shorts this summer. Normally 46 corresponds to a 29 or 30 inch waist but they must be two inches less.

I think so too but in their larger collection (Bib) is just the opposit - they're on the smaller side

i think the sizing also depends on the pieces of clothing. i've got a pair of jeans that fits quite loose and another one that is rather tight and they are both the same size...

yeah i agree. sometimes 32 is my H&M size, sometimes it´s 34. but i even got clothes in 36...

but I think all in all H&M runs big. but if H&M runs big and Topshop runs bigger than H&M so

It's very strange. I can fit into size 44 in most of their clothes - sometimes even 42, but in BIB it's sometimes too small In my experience that their normal clothes is big in the sizes and BIB is small in the sizes. Just to make it easy for the costumers..

in the last week i've been to the two stores here in vienna that carry trend. they had been changing both of the stores and now that they are done it's a mess.

that one that had a big section for the trend-clothes now only has a really small one, and in the other store all the trend pieces are mixed with the other collections..
this is not fair!
