no, the necklace is really not heavy! it's really light actually. i mean you can't ask for much when you are only paying a few euro...

I was so upset with my H&M today! They have mixed up all the trend pieces with the regular line. It was such a hassle going through all the racks looking the the nice pieces. I rarely buy stuff from the other H&M collections anymore and the only reason I step into H&M is because of Trend. I don't want to look though tons of boring stuff in search for the good pieces. They get lost in all the other things and the better quality of the items doesn't stand out so much anymore. Also I don't want to search every corner of the store to see if there's something new from Trend. I really hope this isn't their new stategy and that they're just doing it like that temporarly for the chirstmas sales. I was so pissed, I left empty handed.

Anyone else experienced this?

^Nope but I'm on the same page. I only ever buy other collections, "Trend" is the only line that interests me at H&M.

Also, can't remember who asked about when the new collection would be available, well some of it is already into racks.

The "bubble" outfits (skirts, tops), light wash rolled up denims are in stores.

All is Trends, sorry for those who don't have it...

How is the quality of H&M's trousers? I would like a new pair but don't want to spend too much money, so I thought H&M might be a good place to check out. I have never purchased anything from this store before. How long do their pieces typically last?

I havent bought anything in a long time but Ive seen a couple things Im interested in. one is a lace skirt... looks like the used the same lace they did in the Trend ones (just wish it was in another color other than black).
Another item... cream leather gloves.
The last is a cropped black jacket (has a check texture) & is lined in orange silk. Do you know what Im talking about? I havent had a chance to try it on... has anyone?

What's even worse is that they completely removed Trend from all the stores in my area! It started with the mixing up of the pieces like your experience... and then slowly the remaining stock phased out altogether. It was heartbreaking.

In terms of the non-denim, I think they have a pretty good fit, more so than other high-street places. As in, not sagging/too tight in any one area, and the fabric's usually somewhat stretchy. The quality is good enough, though the paint on the metal buttons/rivets wears away pretty quickly.

I don't think pants are the speciality of H&M. I have one pair of baggy jeans from the Trend line which are excellent - otherwise I am mostly disappointed with their pants. Neither "men's style" woolen pants nor lighter "suit" pants are very good quality. At least they require some work with the iron to look good. Imo H&M do shirts and dresses best.

i agree 100%. H&M pants are way too long for me (i am of average height) and the fit is off. don't bother getting pants at H&M.

 Now I'm scared ! I really really reallly hope this won't be the case here as only two stores in my country carry Trend, the one in my city being one of them.
Well but they did get lot of new Trend stuff in, I hope that is a good sign. I might have to write an e-mail to H&M ... I need to know what's going on.

about the h&m pants:
i think they are quite ok. but they are always way too long. so i got mine hemmed, but after a few washes they shrank a bit... grr..

H&M used to make very short trousers...but nowadays they are quite long and finally fit. I bought my first pair of Jeans half a year ago and they still look like on the first day. I am very positively impressed

^I agree that the jeans are fine, in general cheap denim is really good quality.

forget about pants. H&m (cotton) tops are the worst. The always get holes. literally always.

^Not mine. I have a lot of them and I use them a lot - they are fine.

^^H&M pants have never fit me correctly...for most of my trousers I stick with J.Crew or Banana Republic sales...sometimes they end up being cheaper than H&M if I find a good sale and the quality is much better :)

Haha, looks like pants don't fit well after all? I just really like the plaid/printed skinny twill pants from Divided, they're soft and fit well. Better than the jeans, which I find kind of stiff.
