I'm considering to buy this coat for Christmas for myself, but I'm a bit hesitant because I remember that the coat felt a bit thin to my liking IRL. I don't wanna spend over $100 on a thin wool coat. But, the coat is too beautiful to pass. So I'd like some reviews from people who own this coat before I give up on it. Do you think it's well-insulated? Warm enough to survive this harsh winter? (I get cold easily and it's below 20 where I live!)

@toohauteforyou: I have the coat in grey and I'm totally in love with it! Isn't it already marked down? At least in my country it's on sale. In Germany it's getting cold too, we are currently in a winter wonderland and I wear this coat with my dresses, skirts or pants, it's warm enough for me. But I can't speak for everybody because I don't freeze easily. It's 60% wool, so that's fine to me but there are surely warmer coats with probably 80% or more wool.
Maybe other users who have the coat can give you a better feedback about the coat. I can speak for myself and I don't regret the buy.

@ toohauteforyou It's a great looking coat, but not warm enough for me to get through the winter. I usually wear thick sweaters underneath to compensate, but since it's so warm at work, that's not going to work anymore. So I'm thinking of wearing my other (less fashionable) coat next week, just to be warm.

@ toohauteforyou I bought it and returned it. I have a very small frame and thin legs, so it didn't work out in me at all. I know it's supposed to be oversize, but I think it looked ridiculous.

@ The Ida i love the silk tee you bought, I am kicking myself for not picking it up.. I dont stay anywhere near an H&M store.

toohauteforyou: I just sold mine. I felt a little like Ida, it was too oversized for me. And too cold I think actually. And here in Denmark we rarely go under -15 celcius. So compared to other countries thats not much I guess?

Thanks everyone for feedbacks. I think I'll go to the store and make the final decision, though most likely I might not buy it. Ugh, I really need a new pea coat that is actually warm and decent looking. The decent ones that I've seen are either thin or out of my price range.

Damn that sale! Got this shirt, it was a part of the Fashion Basics line they had for almost a year ago or so...and I've worn all my pieces from that line over and over again. I realized that I don't have a white shirt because I'm not that fond of them, But I'm a sucker for anything oversized

It's a pity that I haven't an H&M's store near me. I live in Salvador - Brazil, at least I've Zara but I really miss the very well-made clothes of H&M sometimes. Mainly the special lines like the Comme de Garçons collection.

I love H&M's lingerie. I think you get a lot for the price and they look very nice too. Almost all the lingerie I own is from H&M.

I'm from Switzerland. So, I think you should be able to get it in Germany. Maybe it just hasn't arrived in your store yet
