does anyone know how the siwy hannah compare to their rose cut in the calves? are they larger in the calves at all because they're cropped? I have a pair of the rose cut and Id like to size down in the thigh area but they are already painfully tight in the calves.

I usually wear Siwy's in Hannah. I have them in almost every wash that I can find. I have unusually large calves for my size (26), and they fit perfectly!

I want these!:

On camp, I borrowed my best friend's and I received compliments. I really want these and they compliment someone who is as short as me... They somehow make my legs look longer.

hey guess, the siwy hannah prob seems easier to get into because the opening is tapered, but not as tapered as rose, because rose is longer, it ends up being a smaller opening.
i also think it depends on the wash. the more washed it looks, it seems more snug, but eventually stretches.
i have almost all siwy hannah's and rose. i have some shorts too.
i have a smaller waist, some hips and average calves.

i know that ashley is wearing superfine jeans is this picture, but is the style BLONDIE? cause isn't that 3/4? how come they're so long on ashley? because she's so short..? or what? help please

ok, well according to shopsites (Steven Alan) the inseam on a pair of Superfine Blondie = 29'' (it can actually be longer if these aren't true measurements). what is Ashley Olsen's inseam?

O.o? i do think it is probably because she is very short.

cheap monday jeans were on sale at barneys for $39 dollars. yes you read that right. THIRTY NINE dollars. well they're long gone now for sure though. but i went in last week and saw a few pairs left. too bad they were not my size.

Ashleys jeans are def the superfine blondie jeans. I have these jeans and they are not 3/4 jeans but more of a peg leg ending at the ankle - I am nearly 5'7 and they are nearly not peg leg on me in a size 25 i.e even though they are meant to be, they are actually running a little long, so I am sure on Ash who is only about 5 foot they would be super long, especially considering the smallest size is a 24, so they can't be much shorter if at all than mine.
Are you thinking of buying these? they are a bit strange fitting IMHO

Does anyone know of any skinny jeans that are higher rise (like an 8 in) & are ankle length or slightly cropped?

yes, have you checked out Jbrands? go to www.revolveclothing.com and look under J Brand - can get all different rises , up to 8.5 inches and then also actually high waisted and the 10 inch ankles are definitley peg leg and i think some of the 12 inch ankles are too - the ten inch ankles are awesome, just like leggings but so flattering and look great with ankle boots! they do run slightly large though. Let me know how you go - personally i think the Lapis and INk washes are great (i have both of these) and the black are nice too. Nicole Richie used to wear these jeans a lot, check out their actual website too it if you want, great great jeans.

i dont know what kind of cheap monday styles you can get in the states, but at least here in scandinavia they make them with 30 inch lenght.. thats a really good fit for a bit shorter person as well..
im about 5'7 and i like that lenght as well cause im getting tired of the too long skinny jeans now...

also, i think the cropped jbrands are also a great option: i have a navy blue pair in my closet... the only bad thing about them is that they are VERY TIGHT on the leg but then too loose for me on the waist..they have kept their color suprisingly well though..

i just got my first pair of skinny h&m jeans from sweden. i usually try to avoid h&m jeans but this pair was nice looking.. they are black with some gold metallic fibres, extremely tapered leg. weird mix: 70% cotton, 16% metallic fibres, 12% polyester and 2% spandex. and they actually are comfortable and do not loose any color in the wash..

I have this pair in a black/gray stripe (sent to me by a friend in Sweden). I was wary of the higher rise at first, but they are SO flattering!

i need a new pair of skinny jeans. i really want them in a medium blue color and to be free of whiskering, fading, etc. the only skinny jeans that i've tried that have really fit me well are deener and bershka jeans but all the deener ones i have seen are dark and i got the bershkas in spain...i'm tall and thin but most of the time when jeans fit me in the thighs, they are a little too big on my waist...any suggestions? :flower:

i would definitely suggest jbrand. without a doubt - have you tried or seen them? check out www.revolveclothing.com and let me know what you think - they are very thin in the legs so would solve your problem of the legs/waist thing and come in many different washes.

yeah i tried j brand once at barneys and i thought the fit was a little odd...too stretchy for me
but thanks :flower:

cutxpaste..i tried to reply to your message but i have too many in my box...
this is what i wrote:
yeah, i've heard that siwy is really great too and i've been thinking about maybe getting some of them. i wear a size 25 in jeans, do you think that would fit me in siwy?[/QUOTE]

it depends on how tight you want them to fit. from my experience they feel tight at first, but stretch into shape. I've seen some girls who are maybe more tom boyish wearing loose.
i once wrote them through myspace : myspace.com/iheartsiwy for advice and they actually wrote me back and ended up with the best fit for me. I wear a 26 most of the time in different brands, but the other brands were always a little loose in the waist for me, but these are definitely not sliding down.

i want them to be tight-ish so i can wear them tucked into boots but not like leggings tight where they are scrunching and stuff. does anyone know if they are sold at bloomingdales?
