i dont like skinny jeans at all. i didnt like them in the 80s and i dont like them now. a lot of girls look like pears in them / o well just my opinion. i am probably all alone with this because everybody seems to be in love with them.

:ermm:

you're right--the only other bespoke jeans place i've heard about that was reasonable and not a tailor = Levi's SF Flagship store, but i think they stopped that service. :( It's an expensive gimmick... hahaha.

the next time i go to the PI I'm stopping by there for sure, but i heard the jeans used to be cheaper tho--like 80USD instead of ~110 now.

well, im not planning a trip to manila so can i order them online just by giving measurements etc. online and then they ship them?

i know a place in silverlake california where they make these "bespoke" jeans by customers measurements and demands. there is a huge huge line though...

no harm in trying...a link to their blog was posted before--i'd imagine contact info would be up there.

does anyone know if Rock & Republic made skinny jeans? Cuz I haven't seen even one pair around here!

no your not , in any case ,skinny jeans have given way to straight leg jeans.

They do! :D You can get a pair through eluxury.com. :flower:

I gotta say.. I'm really into skinny jeans. I have six pairs of em
and I don't really wear any other type of jeans anymore mainly because
the others just don't flatter me as much (I have the weirdest body
type).

I got red skinny jeans from Mango, two identical ones from
a local brand called "Pink Soda", a black one from Dickies (I got it really
cheap!!) and two customized ones made by Viktor Jeans (they're awesome!)

I saw silver skinnies from Topshop and they look quite nice!

not very clear..

As do I, am so disproportionate, but I love it. I only like skinny jeans, but being that I live in an area where skinny jean equates with GAY and GAY is totally looked down upon and ridiculed, as to not stir any confusion, I have been buying Cheap Monday straight legs with the tapered ankles, also regular super slim leg jeans that are MASCULINE enough for mass society. So sad, but what can I do.

I do wear my skinnies though, but just not as frequently as I would like.

cheap mondays

So I was thinking about ordering a pair of cheap monday skinny jeans but the problem is I don't know what size to get, the site says order a size up and do they stretch out a lot?. Can you guys help...so I think I'm usually 25-26, size 2 in even numbers or size 3 if they go by odd numbers. So what size should I get, I want them to fit nice and snug.

CMs stretch out a lot for me in the waist after a day of wear & bag at the knees, but bounce back. i hear they shrink after a wash--i have two pairs, one true and sized down the other (both "tight") and they both fit fine, it's the true that fits comfortable but about an inch+ bagged out at the waist ... but a lot of ppl size up. depending on where you live try 'em on before buying--UO carries them.

Gay people kick my ***, and you really shouldn't care about mass society.

I want to buy a pair of Cheap Monday... but I live in Hong Kong. Any help? I'd really honestly love to try them on.

Thanks you all for the words of confidence, I am working on putting away from my thoughts what mass society thinks. kissmesweet, definetely try them on. Depending on the fit you like your jeans to have, you can either size up or down. I size up, they run so small in the leg area, and are true to size in terms of waist.

I like Uniqlo's skinny jeans. They actually come in three different cuts: straight skinny, extreme skinny, and tapered skinny. They also offer free hemming in the store. I like the straight skinny cut; it's more forgiving for those who aren't blessed with long, skinny legs.

I think it depends on which wash/cut CM's that you want. I have the OD Blacks in my regular size and the 45 Min stonewash in a size up. The stonewash ones feel lighter/stretchier/thinnier so I sized up.

They're always on sale... I think Barney's had them for like $15 on sale last time.

Can people with bigger legs pull off skinny jeans? I probably can't because my legs are way too curvy so with such tight-fitting pants on, I could never get the straight-legged look skinny jeans show off.

I definitely think that they can. I would suggest: not to be skin-tight, heavier denim, darker color, and of course... some swagger. :p

I have been looking for gray skinnies for so long!!!
you'd think it wouldnt be so hard BUT IT IS!!!!
does ANYONE know whrere i can get some???
