Top models fading out in SS08

Tiiu faded a long time ago. She only does insignificant work.

She still does work.. I think she'll make a great come back

Heather Marks is def. fading on runway but she is still on the top with editorials and campaigns...same with Julia, Elise, Daria, etc...

However girls like Tiiu, and Caroline W are almost completely gone. It's too bad, I would rather see them over most of the newer models.

I miss Diana Dondoe and Elise Freja is also fading, but I don't mind that.

how is freja fading? It bothers me when people say girls are fading just because their ruwnay work is almost ntohing which btw freja still done many runway.

I want to example snejana .. she does many ruwnay but not much campaigns or covers but someone like Daria who doesnt do much ruwnay but does plenty covers and eds is fading?

Freja is on her way out, i think. She didn't look good this season and the new hair was a horrible mistake. I don't remember her scoring a cover for the past 6 or so months and even editorially...she isn't doing that well at all for a girl who has been consistently scoring major campaigns.

all of those big girls mentioned who aren't doing the shows make such a fortune that they really don;t need to do shows.
plus if you're at that level, you probhably don't wanna be trapsing from ny to milan to paris doing the shows, its very stressful. being up till 3am doing fittings vs. sleeping in bed

i know what i'd choose!

About Freja: the reason why I thinik she is fading is because she didn't have a significant cover or ed in the past months. Although she did walk on the runway this season, it was significantly less the other seasons and not so many big shows, she wasn't even at Chanel and that says a lot!

I believe Jessica Stam ruled this campaign season, followed so closely by Raquel that I would say it's more like a tie

Raquel has been doing this since 1999. I don't think it's possible that she'd fade away, at least not for long while. These past couple of years have been her strongest in her career.

Isabeli Fontana is in a similiar position. She's only been back from her maternity break for less than six months...shot 6 editorials (and another 2 eds for French Vogue)... and walked for a select few designers including Prada/Miu Miu.

I really don't see Natasha Poly fading away anytime soon either. She is the hottest model working right now along with Raquel.

There are always a few girls that will always be in demand and will only fade if they chose to do so.
