Well, I have only been into fashion for the past few years, and I have no interest in looking back so they don't go back very far.
These really aren't in order; I'll start with my favourite designer but I love them all completely and individually.
Giambattista Valli S/S 2008
This is the show on which viewing I discovered Mr Valli. Such utterly original twists on usual clothes. His inspiration came from his visit to Petra and the pink flowers that grow in the cracks of the rocks there. If there's something I love, it's individuality. If I was a wealthy lady I would wear everything in his collections.
Giambattista Valli A/W 2008-2009
On first viewing this collection I was shocked and frightened by the pieces coming down the runway - the bulking shapes and unusual use of materials. I learned shortly after that his inspiration was 'Little Red Riding Hood eats the wolf'. If I wasn't in love with it first, such amazing inspiration just tipped me over the edge and secured my devotion to him.
Giambattista Valli A/W 2007-2008
This collection I just loved as soon as I saw how the models were made up. I absolutely adore constast or small details that attract attention, and throughout the collection the shoes beamed brilliant colours while the clothes stayed mysterious, dark and completely beautiful and individual.
Calvin Klein Collection S/S 2008
Clean lines, sheer simplicity and yet undeniable identity with glowing materials and utter beauty
Chanel Haute Couture S/S 2005
The collection that introduced me to my love of fashion. I can only remember the fact that I loved Carmen Kass and adored the shoes she was wearing.
Christian Dior S/S 2007
One of the first shows I remember watching, I loved it from the start.
Balenciaga S/S 2008
Akris A/W 2008-2009
Yves Saint Laurent A/W 2008-2009
Christian Dior Haute Couture S/S 08
