I don´t mind Gigi but I don´t like the styling or color scheme, and judging by that pic with her brother, the editorial doesn´t seem very promising imo.
The pose is amazing, the styling, colours and setting as well. Quite possibly the most sensual cover I've seen from British Vogue since their Charlize Theron one. And it's really gearing me up for summer! Only problem is the face she's making and Anwar in the edit
So Anna ran 'The Kendall Effect' with Kendall in a sexy pose, and now Alexandra gives us 'The Gigi Effect' with a sexy pose. Are we experiencing some showdown here?
when I first saw it reminded me of this cover of Kate Moss by Mario Testino as well for Vogue Paris June/July 2010

*not comparing Gigi to Kate in no way
I wish Alexandra gave the cover to someone of importance or really captivating, a wild card but just imagine Erin O'Connor perhaps, although I know its the March issue but still Gigi is such a snore, simply not exciting
I don't hate it, but the leg is kinda throwing me off a bit. Also, it reminds me of Kate Upton's US Vogue cover shot by Mario Testino. Except, Kate Upton did it better.
I expect Kate Upton to get a cover before Alexandra leaves. Because I'll take Kate Upton over GiGi any day.
Maybe I'm just naive today, but I certainly don't see anything awkward in the picture with Anwar. What I do have a problem with is the fact that he looks like some Lifetime James Dean/Elvis hybrid.
I just can't wait for Alexandra to be gone. There is nothing too wrong with this image for me, it just in no way provokes any form of interest or excitement. It is what it is. Exactly what she aims for, middle of the road and inoffensive.
In these dark, wet January days, I like the reminder that there are sunny times ahead. She's looked better - 'fresher' - elsewhere, but the orange adds energy, and it's nice they haven't airbrushed away her moles.
I don't mind this cover at all. Actually, she's doing some modeling here. But I feel like the editorial is going to be ruined by Anwar because that boy doesn't look like a model and cannot model either. But the vibe of the cover is sort of a nice change from Vogue UK for once. The standard has been lowered I believed.
