Taaaaacky. You'd think as an American magazine they'd have a little respect for America.
Instead of cliche Americana, why not do something poignant that illustrates the desperate state the nation is in and the opportunity we (Americans 18+) have to make a change for the better (by voting for Obama, of course).
Maybe a shoot that involves the everyday, small town American, or maybe a shoot that recalls JFK and/ or Bobby, or maybe something that involves the beauty of America's national parks and wildernesses.
I don't know...it's just obnoxious to see Paris Hilton in front of a pink White House, Drew in a red dress with doves flying above her, Tyra Banks as Michelle Obama...it just seems to make this critical situation seems frivolous.
I've just received my subscriber's copy of November Bazaar and have to say it's a huge disappointment. Anyways, I've scanned Mariacarla's ed and will put it here. Here's the first part:
Here's the second set of Mariacarla's pictures. There seems to be a problem with one of them, and I will try to post it again if it doesn't show up properly.
Nope, there's no problem at all, at least I can see all the pics! I hope you enjoy the editorial! And I also hope this begins to make up for all the scans I've been asking in the past! Sorry, guys!
Miss Dalloway, I'm glad you liked the editorial. As for the subscriber's cover, it isn't very different from the newsstand cover, the only difference is that there is a full-body shot of Drew, but the setting is exactly the same! How's that for originality? LOL!
