US Harper's Bazaar June 2009 : Sandra Bullock

Thanks kroqjock :flower: I've always kinda liked Sandra Bullock so I am excited for the subscription cover. And by the way, what is Harper's obsession with pink text?

I know: what is up with all the pink?:yuk: And they are not even the more elegant hues of pink.

It has turned into the Paris Hilton of magazines.

Thanks for the review. Nothing realy excited me about this issue.

The fact that no one has scanned any of the editorials so far, makes me think this must be a horrible issue! Good grief!

I have it (my scanner's lame though, so I won't be scanning) and I think Abbey Lee's edit is really nice. Sessilee's is pretty but nothing special.

I just got it in my hands ( five pages for a HB issue ... )

Abbey Lee's editorial is very dark Greg Kadel, 80's hair similar to that one W editorial with Edita ... against a brown background, brown colours. lame.

Sessilee's editorial .. very Michelle Obama meets the Upper East Side - outdoors shots. A bit 20's inspired. Very beautiful shots actually

The Jonah Hills are hilarious - they are Jonah's take on MTV's the Hills, with him dancing around with various blond girls, lunching, 'working'. Here's a quote
" Shopping is my life. My life is shopping. If Kitson became a country, I would pack up my belongings, move there and apply for citizenship" :P

A fashionable life is with the Azria family - still haven't read that

and i passed by sandras feauture, died a little inside/vomited , and then moved on

She Sessilee ed sounds promising. Thanks for the info.

I just got it today and if no one else beats me to it, I'll scan some HQs sometime late tomorrow afternoon. :flower:

It's not a very good issue, but what can you expect for June?

Abbey has the same facial expression on all photos of her ed

just few of them - scanned by me

Sandra Bullock? Maybe she's headlining every major film this summer and I've been living under a rock, but I can't remember the last thing I've heard about her (career-wise or otherwise).

I am actually experiencing a disturbing sense of detachment from reality; just like dreams that mimic reality in the way that makes the dreamer feel limited by their imagination and confined to their expectations, maybe Sandra Bullock only deserves this cover because I've seen one too many baffling Sandra Bullock covers and have just grown to expect it. Oh well.

Abby's ed looks okay, but withthat hairstyle its pretty much the same as her Numero Korea (or Tokyo?) ed with Karmen Pedaru.

I love Sessiliee's ed. It's so tacky.

Best of What's New
M: Abbey Lee Kershaw
Ph: Greg Kadel

My Scans
Sorry but some of the pages were a little wrinkly, so they're not perfect.

Great Style, Great Price
M: Sessilee Lopez
P: Alexi Lubomirski

My Scans

I dislike Sessilee's editorial. But I love Abbey's, its simple but effective. Especially the styling of the hair.
Thank you for sharing your scans :flower:

Oh,love the styling of Abbey's editorial.Nice colors and hair also.

Tacky eds so far.
I don't usually get Sessilee's appeal but sometimes she looks great, and this wasn't one of those times
And Abbey's ed is just boring, the hairdo is almost the same of Numéro.

I just love the fact that they cast Lopez in an ed like that, however its awful, the styling is painful!

Thats what I like about it. I'm sure HB did not intend it to be a paroday. But to me it is. It's so tacky it's good. Very nice.
