I agree about the photoshop part, this cover would have been hundred times better without it. But wow, Kate is stunning. I like the cover and her editorial is like a cherry on top. People can keep badmouthing her but that doesn't change a thing. This girl is a new big thing and I'm totally fine with it. And we finally have a model on the cover of Vogue US again, yay!

I really didn't think Anna would put Kate on the cover, it seemed like a rumor people made up for fun. But I like it, she looks summery and gorgeous and its nice to see a model on the cover for once. Its just a shame that everyone's going to rag-on about the fact that it isn't their favorite model or that she doesn't deserve it. The fact is that names and personalities sell magazines and Kate Upton (for better or for worse depending on how you see it) has both of these qualities (as well as talent too) that other models don't have. We might all adore Karlie (or other models of her stature) but sadly she isn't a household name and therefore might not sell copies of Vogue the same way Kate can.

I like the colours and the styling of the cover, but that's about it. Her expression is really weird, not to mention the photoshop. The ed is so boring, it's like a compilation of every Vogue cliché used in last 20 years. Maybe it's because she doesn't have much of a personality so they didn't know where to go. I suppose it serves its purpose, but I still don't get her. Don't get why people think she's interesting, don't get why she gets attention... just don't get the whole thing.

Love It!!!! Best Vogue cover this year, the colors work so well, and se looks breathtaking!
The editorial looks good, but I expected more photos like the cover, such a fresh and cool cover from Anna!

I'm just glad my subscription ran out, I don't want anything to do with this. Yeah, she looks nice and I totally understand why she's on the cover, but she's just not my cup of tea. I especially can't stand when people are force fed to me as the next big thing when everything they produce is mediocre. Just because she works with this one and that one and has all this attention doesn't mean that she's actually any good at what she does save from bouncing her boobs all over the place.

The cover itself I don't mind,

I mind that she's on the cover in the first place.

Firstly, the reason Kate Upton became the "hottest (as IF.) supermodel in the world" is because shes related to billionaires. I don't think she's pretty in the slightest. I think what I'm going to start doing now is covering the faces of every magazine I end up getting with a model I hate on it. (I've got Style magazine Spring 2013 all ready for that.) The fact that she managed to get this baffles me. She's just another model that nobody cares about. She hasn't walked a SINGLE show (except for swimsuit shows. I mean, really?), so why is she being called a supermodel? She got two swimsuit editions? Big whoop. It's bad enough that the quality of content in Vogue has dwindled down from daring, beautiful editorials to bringing us inside the private lives/homes of rich people nobody cares about EVERY MONTH. People have been asking for models on the cover for years and years and years. What do we get? Kate Moss, Gisele Bundchen, and Christy Turlington. Not a single up-and-comer. There are people who have worked for this cover for years. I'm not even Karlie's biggest fan but how many editorials for Vogue does she have? She was profiled in the SEPTEMBER ISSUE almost FOUR YEARS AGO. Where is her cover? If there is any model who deserves a cover it's her. Not some wannabe who got famous for being on the cover of a swimsuit magazine and doing some stupid dance for Terry Richardson.

She's just some girl who calls herself a model because she wants to become a big, famous actress. Even though her acting would be more on par with a p*rno than it would with the Oscars.


(It's things like this that make me angry. Well, one of many things.)

Yeah, I would be jealous if a girl like Kate got this cover too...

Karlie will get hers, soon enough...

I like the cover. It looks like a throwback to the 80s early 90s.

I've been rooting for Kate since that Victoria's Secret director made those rude remarks about her. Now that woman is looking rather foolish since Kate has been embraced by everyone in high fashion.

I'm not the biggest Kate fan (or hater for that matter) so as long as the cover is visually pleasing I'm up for it. She looks gorgeous and summery here, like a 50's pin-up mixed with a 90's supermodel. What I admire most on the cover though is the variety of colors and textures as well as the fact that Anna seems to be done with her banner phase. The editorial is classic, boring Testino, nothing to write home about.

Secondly, I don't think she looks pretty at all on the cover, while she obviously is quite pretty. I also noticed that she can't seem to close her mouth in not a single pic from the ed.

It's certainly not a bad cover, but i'm just truly disappointed that she's on it, she's done nothing to deserve it.
