US Vogue March 2015 : Karlie Kloss & Taylor Swift by Mikael Jansson

I really like the idea of celebrating female friendship. The media loves to pair women against each other and create fights and competitions where there aren't ones. I think showing this is a positive message and just goshdarn nice.

I think it's a beautiful cover and editorial.

But these two are way more ugly then JLaw and Anna.

I can't stand when people faking in a gay relationship. Such a jerk.

Beauty is clearly subjective, but calling Taylor or Karlie "ugly" is simply ludicrous. And rude.

Also, please explain to me - if you're capable of doing so - what about this cover or editorial implies "faking in a gay relationship"? What are you even talking about?!

I really like this, it feels very fresh and season-appropriate, which can sometimes be an issue for Vogue US. Also I am very happy for Karlie!

And regarding the comments that this looks like they are more than friends, I don't really see a problem in that. It would be terrific if it turned out that they are secretly dating, they're both gorgeous and talented girls lol.

Did they try to butch Taylor up?? She's such a feminine girl but on here she looks kind of like a tomboy who decided to play dress up. Not that in feeding into the lesbian comments. They're young girls and young girls are extremely close to their bffs.

If this is your idea of butch, we need to have a serious talk!!

I quite like this, although kind of bummed that Karlie's first cover has to be with Taylor, don't get me wrong I'm a fan of both but would have loved to see them with a cover each...Anna is just very anti-multiple cover.

That video...........all that's missing is the Pumpkin Spice Latte.

They're so freakin' boring and cheesy... Karlie was interesting for a second, circa Pringle of Scotland campaign 6 years ago, ever since it's all been downhill in looks and personality, she's become this trite ideal of some bubbly blonde college girl (the standard kind, not even up there with the frat boy) and Taylor's godawful music and Cinderella notion of personal style the soundtrack for it.

Sometimes you see model/celebrity pairings and they come off as so charming and it reminds you of that girlfriend you can do and say all kinds of silly things with, Ali Stephens and Toni Garrn for example, even Alexa and Tennessee to some degree. I get what they were going for with this cover and it's good that they're celebrating that kind of bond, but man.. maybe it's the peroxide on Karlie's head, maybe it's Taylor's lyricism, but in order to feel drawn to a story, cover or article.. they should be at least aspirational in that shallow, Vogue cover way, and they're just not cool girls.. nor would I want to get stuck in that road trip.. at least Poppy and Alexa's one look like decent music might be playing.

kendall & cara > taylor & karlie...
(and i don't like either pair)...:ninja:

It's the perfect solution, a model AND a celebrity on the cover, no need to choose and everybody's happy. Love it!

Agreed, these are two women who are at the top of their game in their respective fields and they have a really strong friendship. I like that Vogue is celebrating that and I'll take it over some of the other things fashion magazines put on their covers.

^^Yeah, but what about Taylor's other celebrity "friends"? I'm sure that Lorde and Haim are just over the moon that they're not featured.

are they in a perfectly manufactured friendship with the biggest popstar of the moment though? cause otherwise it's not gonna happen lol

So much truth. Somebody said they don't understand the hate towards this cover, well I don't understand why most people are stanning over it. It's so bland and yes it's nice that Vogue is "celebrating" friendship, but as others pointed out it's been done and much better recently.
This seems like a mutually beneficial friendship too. Taylor really seems to want to be a part of the fashion world recently and I really do not get it.

So you guys actually believe their friendship is fake? I'm sorry but I don't buy that.

every US Vogue cover is bland, they produce nice and safe cover images. To expect something like VP or VI is unrealistic imo.

I love it. You can feel the chemistry between them and the video was so fun to watch! Like it doesn't feel forced at all.

And the gay rumours? Karlie is in a relationship with a guy and Taylor has been in relationships with guys in the past. They're both probably straight and even if they were bi or gay, why do they suddenly have to be in a relationship with each other? Can two people not enjoy each other's company regardless of sexual orientation and that's that? But Taylor does get accused of being in a relationship with whoever she talks to so I'm not surprised by some of the comments here.

I really love the story, especially the shots of them on the bed, Karlie looks so dreamy and Taylor so playful.
I also love the shots of them wearing those stunning dresses outside the airstream trailer. It's like they're off to go to some adventure or party. The whole shoot reminds me of my friendships with my best friends.

Overall, the shoot is fabulous and I love how they're celebrating two best friends at the top of their game. They both have great chemistry and they photograph beautifully!

I don't know if that was directed at me, but no I personally do not think it's fake. I think they are genuinely friends, but they are both getting something out of this friendship.

Thank God it's not gray background. I love the styling on the editorial. And also the mood. Taylor looks modelesque and equally cool as Karlie on the editorial.

But the editorial is really beautiful!

I don't understand why people are saying that they are faking their friendship and all the gay comments.
I am not a fan of either Karlie or Taylor, but I still like the outcome.

How are they faking anything? They're not in a lesbian relationship....they're friends. I'm like this with my bestfriend and unless you actually have a really close best friend, then you'd understand their relationship.

LOL at calling them ugly...lby Lawrence looks like a thumb and Anna Kendrick has one of the most punchable, annoying faces. All tea, all shade:wink:
