People forget this US Vogue. If you want high fashion then you'll most likely have to seek it somewhere else and let US vogue stick to their "we're running for miss usa" style covers. I for one love the cover and the editorial- as long as there are no Kardashians inside the issue then i shall be happy.

I couldn't be more thrilled for Karlie! It's amazing to see two friends sharing such an important moment! Also, Jansson is one of my favourite photographers and I'm really happy he got this cover. Truly gorgeous!

They are both tall small town ambitious all American girls that have achieved mega success is their respective careers. What makes it difficult for people to see them as friends and not manufactured friends?

Probably the fact that Swift has a whole slew of famous friends that she seems to have selectively picked for their ability to bring her more fame, or to enhance her image.

I don't doubt their friendship but I get the feeling that Karlie is being used as a "prop"... the bigger celebrity, the most well known girl is Taylor and Karlie is on the cover the same way eg Gisele was on the cover with George Clooney or Robbie Williams years ago. Vogue is covering their friendship and possibly capitalizing the dating rumours so to me this is a celebrity cover that happens to also feature a model.

I think Anna likes Karlie enough that she found a way to giver her another cover with Taylor acting as the perfect insurance policy. IMO it's a model cover with a celeb thrown in.

Bland cover but not bad...much better and cleaner than recent portraits from the mag. The editorial has some good shots. I think it's more interesting to see Mikael Jansson rise through the Conde ranks like this even after decades of being successful in his own right...very interesting, Anna must have her eyes pasted elsewhere during her magazine perusals .

Anna's eyes were/are stuck on Caroline Trentini

Objectively speaking, I think the cover is just ok. The styling makes them look older. And I hate those outfits they have on. Additionally, I don't care for either of them, so... With that said, I think the idea behind the cover is really cool and fresh. Friends or more, their relationship has kind of become main stream, but each is accomplished enough where they still have their street cred. Ultimately, I think this is going to become an iconic cover.
