US Vogue November 2017 : Daisy Ridley by Mario Testino

Stunning! She never worked in print to me before, but this is really well done. And wow at it being Testino to bring out the best in her.

Am I the only one who thought "volleyball player" when I saw this? They couldn't have put her in a more unflattering dress for that angle, no matter how gorgeous her face is.

She looks beautiful. I detest the earring in such a symmetrically perfect image, but that's just me. It's nice. Feels quite bold and spring-like in its colourings. Fingers crossed December has a holiday feel.

I like it... she is giving me Carre Otis vibes...

I think she's rather boring but this is a very nice cover.

I dont like it. It looks like a Lindbergh photo. Too rough.

I just thinking this, it looks like a colored version of a Lindbergh photo.

I don't really love it, but at least it's something bold (for Vogue).

A really strong cover from US Vogue, and a thousand times more compelling than last month's Rooney Mara offering. I love the fact Daisy Ridley's never had a Vogue cover before, the use of the Saint Laurent dress and the overall composition of the cover itself. A thumbs up from me!

Her ed is fantastic as well, for once a celeb is shown in a strong, and powerful way. I will take this over their usual "trophy wife wandering around the mansion" eds, anytime. Also wow, Testino really enjoyed shooting her, every shot works, and the light is amazing.

I just adore how strong, she looks on the cover, the earring, the dress, it all works for me!

The hair is a big MESS but the overall look: makeup, styling, colors is fantastic!!! I really like this cover

Stunning cover, I like the fact that it's so modern and yet very US Vogue! Very glad for Daisy as well, the last name I'd have expected to get Vogue - so many new faces this year. I only like the third shot in the edit, she's better than a model actually.

What a pleasant surprise! I had heard the Hadid sisters were going to be on the November cover, so Daisy is a very welcome sight. Her face is gorgeous. The dress isn't the most flattering for an athletic broad-shouldered girl, but her face is so arresting that it doesn't really matter.

It’s crazy how Daisy didn’t even come into mind even though Star Wars is about to come out which is going to be HUGE again!

I love the cover. Very in your face striking and it’s by Testino, who hasn’t had a good US Vogue cover in awhile. The editorial is great too. Kudos to Vogue. November usually delivers.

Also, LOL at the Kendull tag line “Run the Jewels” didn’t Kim get “robbed” in Paris earlier this year?

This is a beautiful cover. I dislike the earring but I'm not sure the image would be better without it. I also do not think this is the most flattering pose or styling choice for her body shape but it is refreshing to see a different body shape on the cover at all.

Call me old-fashioned but I prefer the print editions of magazines. Unfortunately, every cover in print looks atrocious! Blurry, weirdly cropped. Somehow I assumed digital photography would improve printed photographs but I guess not. I can't even look at the newstands now. It's a very disappointing fact when beautiful covers like this are released. I want to support the magazine but I can't do it anymore. Digital magazines are fine, better for the environment... but it's not the same. A cover feels somewhat pointless and odd for digital content.
