Call me old-fashioned but I prefer the print editions of magazines. Unfortunately, every cover in print looks atrocious! Blurry, weirdly cropped. Somehow I assumed digital photography would improve printed photographs but I guess not. I can't even look at the newstands now. It's a very disappointing fact when beautiful covers like this are released. I want to support the magazine but I can't do it anymore. Digital magazines are fine, better for the environment... but it's not the same. A cover feels somewhat pointless and odd for digital content.

I don´t think it´s the photography but the print process. The paper they use is a lot cheaper than before, even for the covers. I imagine that using lower quality paper grammage will also affect what kind of ink they use. Resulting in dull looking images.

I didn't even notice the asymmetric earring, all I saw was the power pose. I wouldn't ever have said that sort of cover shot would appeal to me, but it's good to see US Vogue doing something different. Something defiant!

This is really fantastic. She looks strong, powerful, modern - I'm loving every single shot. Totally echo everyone before me who posted how refreshing it is to see this kind of editorial, rather than the typical glamourous ones. She's a star!

It’s crazy how Daisy didn’t even come into mind even though Star Wars is about to come out which is going to be HUGE again!

I love the cover. Very in your face striking and it’s by Testino, who hasn’t had a good US Vogue cover in awhile. The editorial is great too. Kudos to Vogue. November usually delivers.

Also, LOL at the Kendull tag line “Run the Jewels” didn’t Kim get “robbed” in Paris earlier this year?

I'm not the biggest hip hop fan, but I LOVE Run The Jewels. That line was such a cool nod to them. I imagine Kendall will have the couture edit. Jewels, excess, Paris.

Re Star Wars, last year Felicity got most of the press, didnt hear a peep about Daisy. Glad to see her on Vogue. She doesn't have a lot behind her name. US Elle, UK Glamour x 2, and VF.

^Felicity promoted Rogue One. Daisy´s SW film was in 2015 and she wasn´t known back then. Her character became very well loved, I guess that´s another reason for her to get the cover...?

What a beautiful cover! The pose is a little stiff but Daisy looks beautiful and I adore the colours; it feels so clean and fresh. There are some lovely shots in Daisy's story as well, it kind of reminds me of shoots from 10 or 15 years ago when it really felt like an actress was getting the 'Vogue' treatment...if that makes any sense.

Except for the models cover, Katy Perry and Rooney Mara this was such a strong year for US Vogue.

While I don't have much to complain about because I *surprise!* like this cover. I think she looks commanding and powerful and I'm here for that. What I'm NOT here for is that unflattering dress giving her the shoulders of a linebacker. Also where TF is her other earring?!! The lack of it is throwing off the symmetry of this cover for me. They also could have done more with her hair cuz it's terrible*♀️ But overall.... it's... nice

Star Wars is out in December but she is also in Murder on the Orient Express, which comes out in November.
