V Magazine #110 Winter 2017 : Daisy Ridley by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin | the Fashion Spot

V Magazine #110 Winter 2017 : Daisy Ridley by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin

Much more natural and inviting than the Vogue US cover if you ask me, although it's too artificially grainy.

I like the cute intentional cheesiness of the smile, the hand whipping the hair and her hand on her hip. Remninds me when ScarJo was photographed for V in moody femme fatale lighting and styling, and instead of the usual sexy scowl, she had big cheesy smiles.

I like that they went for something different and someone new, but this looks very Glamour. Still, I'm glad for Daisy. Things are finally happening for her.

She's not one of my favorites. Don't like this month's US Vogue or this cover.

This looks like a Gap campaign. It's wrong for a cover, especially for this title. I'm sure they didn't feature this Star Wars promotion for free. $$$

The thought didn't cross my mind, but I must say you may be right! It is very odd for them to break their pop star spell for Star Wars. I'd at least have expected something a bit more futuristic, perhaps shot by Klein.

Another IV cover, shocking!

Her best cover so far. Maybe not mind-blowing (what is even close these days?), but she looks beautiful!

Daisy has been photographing just beautifully lately, you can see she's staring to come into her own here. First the bold November cover of Vogue and now this. Also, Inez & Vinoodh are both absolute geniuses who always bring out the best in people. I'm all for the ladylike styling here too.

I just checked out the whole cover feature on V's website and I have fallen in love with each and every shot...

Just got a copy of the issue and WOW it's a fantastic edition for them. Some surprising contributors and a great way to end the season for them.
