regardless, i'm sure it wasn't fernanda's last year. she'll be there again this year, she's one of their big draws.

anyway, i started a thread on this in fashion daily. i posted a vid there of the 2003 show, and when i get back to my own computer i'll post it again.


Gisele does indeed have an amazing walk, but for some reason she didn't stand out to me in this show. in 2002 and 2001 she definitely did, but not here.

to me, Tyra, Karolina and Naomi owned this show.

when tyra walks out to N.E.R.D's "Rockstar" she is out of this world sexy. that bouncy walk and her eyes just smolder. i love her. she's my favourite.

and when Naomi struts down the runway, her legs are just so defined and amazing. her body looks strong and healthy. and her walk is just so . . . i don't know. . .like deliberate or something. she's just moving with such smooth fluid motion. nothing's gonna stop her.

karolina is basically an angel. her legs are a mile long, her gorgeous smile and hair and skin just RADIATE. and she's curvy. her hips move so beautifully when she walks and her steps are graceful like no one else's. when she opened the segment in the green thigh-highs, she literally looked like she was walking on a cloud. just breathtaking.

i obviously disagree with you pussylee in regards to tyra being out this year, and it looks like you won't get your wish anyway. she's already in the press ads tagging this show as her last.

but i COMPLETELY agree with you about michelle alves. that girl is just so . . . blaaaaaaah. nothing to her. nothing unique looking. same with marcel bittar. both are just boring.

i would love to see valentina. she IS perfect for VS.

another thing i LOVE about the 2003 show is that you can hear when the audience applauds a model. it seems to seperate the SUPERmodels from the normal models. it was really only Naomi, Tyra, Heidi and Gisele that got constant applause. Karolina did when she opened and adriana did once or twice. Fernanda did during the segment after she tripped, but that was about it.

I always thought that was funny when Letitia still kept walking with her hand stucked on her hips. LOL! I thought she offered to help Fernanda, but she refused and kept pulling the beads like a madwoman!

Karolina Kurkova is the best VS model on the catwalk, so far. She got the right look, Hair, Curvaceous body with Long Legs and that enchanting walk.

In terms of opening the show, Gisele Bundchen always delivers.......This girl just walk very different from the rest, I just can't explain it! She bounce and struts and sways and twirl......Best Model . Period.

I'm disappointed with Isabelli Fontana. Beautiful face in Vogue pages, but very forgettable in the catwalk. You almost fogotten she was even casted.

Please put Adriana in the middle. I was disappointed when she opened the show. Great girl, but can't open the show. Leave this part to Gisele!

I'm excited to see new girls, like Valentina, Elise Crombez, Fernanda Motta.......

Please No more Marcel Bittar, Michelle Alves, Ujjwala,

Bring back Eugenia, Letitia, Naomi......and a 2nd chance for Fernanda Tavarez who messed up.

Please, Please no more freaks like GEMMA WARD, Jessica Stam,and their look-alikes,
a.k.a. Heather Marks, Lily Donaldson...whatever.

YES, i really do think that they will put Daria in the show this year. For whatever reason, she has achieved some sort of supermodel status.

she IS extremely thin, however VS has used many models who are as thin, if not thinner (see Dewi Driegen, Ujwalla Raut, etc). I think that daria would make a good addition to the show, and would definitely make her star rise.

I can't wait for the show...as to who the models will be, I wish I knew! I like Adriana a lot and I think she is good for VS. When she winks, the crowd hollers. It's good that they throw her in the lineup along with models like Karolina and Heidi -- polar opposites in their looks, but they bring so much energy to the show! Fernanda, although she tripped, has a great look and very sexy -- I think she works for VS and they will bring her back.
New models: I would love to see Cameron, Valentina, Bianca, Reki Ebergenyi, Natalia (although Natalia probably won't), and Jessica van der Steen (or was she in the last show? I don't think she was...)
I agree with those who say Michelle Alves is boring. She never impressed me, same with Deanna Miller (redhead). I kind of hope they bring Isabeli back, but not Bridget Hall (I love her, but she just didn't look right in the show)
All in all it should be an interesting show...but we have a while to wait!

i don't agree concerning leticia. You don't know what she had to do next , and who was near to help fernanda. And maybe she had some rules to follow in such a case.
I believe there was enough people around to help her, and paid for that job. I am SURE that naomi wouldn't have done anything !!

And i am also certain it is not their job. With high heals it is already hard to walk down the stairs, and facing the camera, i think there are some employees paid in order to help backstage .

she was the only truly refreshing one there. if u notice the camera lingered on her lovely face for the longest time. i liked her short hair, pretty face, and boyish hips.

i thought heidi klum looked like an aging german doll. tyra was just obese. adriana is SO full of herself.

ujjwala... y'all know i love this girl but her & liya both looked like strung out crack hoez. theres a point when skinny isnt so sexy anymore... especiially for VS.

only leticia, karolina, and eugenia ROCKED the show. that fresh young thing... the redhead they chose to star in it, she was very cute, too.

frankie, carmen, and naomi all looked haggard & OVER with.

ok i actually have to agree with mademoiselle ail and happy canadian re: leticia. while i wouldnt go as far to call her a wretched b*tch since i wasnt there and dont know the situation, i will say that its not so much that she didnt help fernanda thats the issue but the way she looked at her as she passed by. i didnt particularly care for that altho i DID like the way she rocked the runway. i do think she did a good job. i agree w/p*ssy lee about adriana...i actually WOULD like to see her open the show BUT only if she opens the way she walked down the runway in her (i think) 3rd appearance. there she looked awesome and confident and fun. but if she's gonna open it the way she opened in 2003, then no thanks lol. most forgettable ppl: liya (i adore her but just wasnt feeling her in this show), ana bb (also adore her, but disappointed), alessandra ambrosio (this was a big reminder as to why i DONT like her and dont think she should have angel status). she never seems like she knows how to pose...and she always seems like she's trying too hard to look sexy and failing miserably. pretty girl but sheesh...DO SOMETHING! look alive honey! lol. i'd LOVE to see karolina open the show. she was the best imo.
