A tour would be a great opportunity for the girls. It would let Adriana step into the mama angel position (provided Heidi didn't step in the way...again) and Alessandra to be second in command, and Marisa as follows. This is really the best known group of Angels they have had since 2004. Adriana, and Alessandra are self explanatory, Marisa is as well and Miranda is known to most everyone as Orlando's girlfriend, and the two Doutzen and Emanuela would get great exposure even though they're not well known.
That is exactly how it was set up in 2004 with the tour, Tyra and Heidi were the ring leaders because they were the most famous and the most experienced. Gisele was in the middle, really experienced but not that well known to the general public, and Ale and Adriana at the time were unknowns. But the tour really got them recognized all the time.
As for the people who would miss the show because of their model in it...I honestly have no sympathy for. Why? Well because the regular runway models that participate in the show most of the time have plenty of eds, ads, and runway shows during the course of the year for their fans to live on. Fans of the angels have a few eds, a few ads, new vs pics and a launch here and there, so we miss out on a lot. So honestly a tour would be great again, the cute outfits, the several places they could go. It would be fantastic.
As for doing a show and a tour, I don't see that happening, it's a waste of money and nothing would really come out of it. The designers would have to design every outfit for the tour for every girl (like before) and then plus all the fashion show outfits....Besides taking a break from the show would let them make it better, and possibly get better ratings. The 2005 show got better ratings because in 2004 there was no show...taking a break sometimes does make things better.
And rumour has it that there was so much criticism about sexual content on TV that a lingerie show couldn't be done without a huge outrage from conservative idiots
