Well, we just have to agree to disagree I´ve never liked Carmen, maybe it`s Heidi`s fun personality which makes her appear younger to me. Selita`s poses and everything were too much Imo she tries too hard. Altough there were too much hand waving and blow kisses anyway. Adriana was outstanding, again, though there were many models I like more than her. Adri is born for VS runway, definitely

wI think the person who was trying too much / was over the top is Doutzen. She did the same "I look straight ahead, then I play with my outfit and finally I blow a kiss" poses. That was too much.
There were definitely a lot of hand waving (and pointing with fingers - ridiculous), that's for sure. But Adriana was one of them who did those. Having said that I do agree she is great for VS.

But what did you think about the music?

Yeah, I know Adri waved hands, pointed and such pretty much, I think I´m little partial here, but it kinda works for her. It doesn`t look so forced when she does it. BUT yes, they all could have been more elegant.

About Doutzen, as much as I love her, she didn`t shine on runway. She walked too fast and her poses were forced.

I guess I belong to majority of tFSers when I say I liked most Pink section`s music. One word: perfect. Other sections were ok, but the one I didn`t like was that Latino singer. Was it only me but the music didn`t fit for walking very well ?

althouh everyone lese were great too...i think ale needds to work out a little bit more because her legs seem to me uite bigger...but i forgive her...she gave birth to a beautiful little daughter..

Well you can't really call Marisa old, and not call Adriana and Ale old, considering they'll both be 28 this year. I do agree that Marisa tends to look her age more so than Adriana and Ale but that's just my opinon. I think All the girls did well in the scheme of things, everyone has different tastes of what they like. I personally think Adriana did well because she's entertaining and she sticks out and the majority of the public likes her for that, and well we know VS loves her to death that's quite obvious by now so the few people who don't like her are pretty much in the minority. But the same could be said for all the other models too.

On another note I'm so happy they're are only 6 angels now...let's just hope they don't add more to the pack.

Evidently the parent company (The Limited) is doing really badly during the economic downturn...There may well be some major cutbacks as time goes by...

Well, not having a show this year has crossed my mind too. It's tough because I'd be devastated without my every year dose in December but having said that I also admit they should be focusing on promoting their new (and old) Angels in order to get more reputation. Because this whole KK-Selita dropping, and Emanuela hiring issue is way too quick and people need time to process that.
On the other hand, I'm sure the overall feedback they have been receiving connected to the last show is rather negative than positive so they might want to take time and work out a new strategy. I truly hope they will forget about the whole Miami idea and will return to the Kodak Theatre...

Well Everyone thought the show was fantastic for the most part, and everyone agreed mostly. Until...the editing which wasn't VS's fault the show itself wasn't bad it was the edited that made it that way.

I personally think the tour would be a better way to introduce the new Angels, let Adriana shine as the leader and Heidi as well and let the rest be introduced as the new set of angels. IMO it's better than the show, more pics, and more videos.

I think a tour would be great, too! But their sales are way down and there is talk of closing a lot of their stores...Promotions of any kind may be out of the question for the time being...

Uh I doubt that hun. They've done more promotions already this year than they did last year...heck they are having 2 back to back next week for a major bra launch for "The Perfect One" with their two biggest supermodels...with a whole lot of press! Heidi is doing the launch in LA on the 3rd with tons of tv interviews and in store press, and then on the 4th Adriana is doing the launch in NYC with tv interviews and in store press.

They may cut a lot of things but Vs won't be cutting that kind of thing...sorry it just won't happen.

I am actually in contact with someone who works backstage at the VS shows, and she says that they may not do the show but they would do something to replace it. But canceling the show is still way out of the question at this point...that they always pull something out of their hats. While the regular parts of Limited are suffering that part of VS isn't.
