Too sporty for me, I miss the fashion, probably because of the black & white.

Yikes, so bland!! Loads of overacting from both the models, this is a complete miss for me. Sorrenti's covers for VI as even worse than that of Bruce Weber.

I wish it was in glorious coming-into-summer colour, with tanned skin - Ewers won't be selling many Les Beiges with this - but I suppose the monochrome brings out the feel of the jumper (and arm hair) and the slightly austere look of the beauty styling.

Still, I can't help but think back to the days when Gisele would turn up on a cover like this, with skin like burnt sienna, alongside some Dolce & Gabbana beefcake.

I don't know it's whether the image or the text/font gives me a vibe of some old cover images by Meisel. Funny that both this month and last month gave me a feeling of Meisel even neither of them were shot by Meisel.

Gorgeous! Anna is beautiful and I love the art direction; the yellow against the black and white is fantastic and I really like the type treatment. I've been hoping Vogue Italia's graphic design would step up with a new Editor so fingers crossed they begin to update the look of it inside, it's usually awful.

Love everything about this! It's been a damn long while since i liked a VI cover this much.

Yes, I'd like it more if it was more joyous and summery, in full color and lively expressions, like this one from 1996.

Perhaps not artistic like we used to .. but it's a lovely cover I think

I just love it. It's fresh, it's energetic but melancholic at the same time, very now. I don't seem to miss Meisel as much as the rest do and I find this cover and M&M's one a breath of fresh air. It's good that Vogue Italia has slightly departed from the usual style and I'm here for it.

If she were winking, I'd mistake this for an I-D cover. Even the layout screams I-D

I would've loved this if it were in color. The filter takes away the energy of the pose.

Maybe this is the new VI direction. Commercial and very subdued. I just hope it doesn't end up looking like those Indie Magazines that are so obsessed with the youth (I-D, Dazed, +++)

Also, I hope that it is in this thread that we could finally put to an end the idea that when a person criticizes a Non-Meisel cover, it automatically means that the only reason why he/she doesn't like it is because it wasn't shot by Meisel. "If it were shot by Meisel people would go crazy over it." No. A bad cover is a bad cover, regardless of the photographer.

I like it, specially the retro layout.
I´m still waiting to be wowed by the new team though...

if I didn't know who Anna was I would assume this is a vintage cover. Not out there with the best but it's very VI nontheless.
