Vogue Paris April 2018 : Alma Jodorowsky by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin

I wish she made eye contact.

She's one of my favorite cases of nepotism, if only they had given us a Cindy/Kaia type of cover with grandpa instead...

Well, Paris and France has always been about Nepotism, especially Vogue of course. With that said I don't mind the cover, I don't think it's groundbreaking in any way and it's on the somewhat boring scale of things. I feel like I've already seen the editorial inside and so forth. Better than last months though

I don’t know her, but the cover looks nice.

No idea who she is. Having googled her, apparently she was in "Blue is the Warmest Colour" , but frankly she must have left no impression on me because i do not recall ever seeing her at all. She has a bit of a Sloane Ranger face that I do not find very appealing, but i kind of like it when they do this typical Chanel covers.

I like the idea, but the execution is off. Also, who is this? Are we supposed to know her?

This is the final cover?
Well, ok. I mean it looks more like a Bijoux or Miss Vogue outtake to me. And once again the art direction seems not to match the shot at all.

I like the styling and Alma looks vaguely tolerable here. No thanks to that La Parisienne tagline....

Ugly styling on a probably pretty girl. Cheap and old-fashioned. A miss.

I'm actually surprised people in here don't recognize her famous surname. The cover itself is a non event it looks like an outtake from that editorial Hans Feurer did to promote Fashion Night Out a few years ago.

Josephine LeTutour would have made this work... but she clearly has no famous family ties...

Agree with everything. This shot does simply not work as a cover for Vogue, it would be okay only for a supplement. The styling is nice, I like the Chanel overload.

I keep imagining this cover with Othilia Simon. Her face is kinda similar to the one of this actress.. She is French.. She is perfect for Vogue Paris.. She is loved by I&V.. She is an amazing model who kills it every time.. And would have made this work of course.

This has Chanel written all over it. Sub par cover. It looks like an out take from the edit. But I bet they chose this because she wears Chanel.
