Vogue Paris December 2008/January 2009 : Stéphanie de Monaco by Mert & Marcus

I've never really got Eniko, but I love that shot of her for the calendar, and the cover of VP is just such a contrast to the calendar. Best of both worlds, really.

I can't wait to pick this up when I'm in Paris. Thank you for the scans Diorette.

yes, im really happy, Berlin, i saw info in cover cumor thread and was glad back then

im sooo waiting for pics from calendar and hope what that will b available worldwide
thatnks BerlinRocks and Diorette!

i love the covers thx for posting and review the eds, it's quite remembering me with coppola issue the cover

Well, it's just not my taste I guess. I don't know whether it was always sexy like that, I have only started reading VP this year. I just don't know what I should do with this calendar when it arrives. I do not have a particular interest in naked women, you know? That's why I buy fashion magazines and not the Playboy.

well you know i cannot talk for Carine ... she is not my mother, nor I am her asst. or husband .... but this is a calendar, not a fashion magazine ... so i guess you have to take it as a calendar ... and if you don't want it, but plan to buy the issue, well give it to a boy (who is interested into naked women ... ;))
then Carine has this thing about sex, sexy, erotism etc. I mean she invented the p*rno-chic with Testino for Tom Ford ....... so she basically loves sexy woman .... and that doesn't make her a lesbian, you know ... i mean i can enjoy the beauty of a naked woman body but that doesn't make me straight pour autant ...

There's always eBay. Terry Richardson's work is always vulgar, but apparently sex sells.

I do look forward to this issue, regardless of Richardson.

Yes sexy, but not those ugly new faces like aline webber, sexy like hilary or lara, real women.

And i don´t think vogue paris is like p*rno, i am sure if show the magazine to my class mates, they will use it to do paper airplanes.

i've just read in the magazine that the calendar will only be sell in France ...
did it hit the international newsstands last year ?

Calendar

Sorry they're so small & blurry. I scanned the small pics at the end of the calendar.
It looks so much better IRL. Hopefully someone with a bigger scanner can provide better versions.

Yes it did, I know it was available in NY at the very least. I've got it hanging on my wall at home

airplanes ?!
anyway ....
p*rno Chic was not a name invented by Carine Roitfeld and Mario Testino themselves but by the fashion journalists/critics and general media about the aesthetic of Gucci during the TomFord era in the 90s ...
and no there's no real p*rn in VP ..........................
because the PornoChic is over ... though Carine and Mario being at the beginning of it, i mean the spirit of it continues to ghost in some of Carine's story ....

i think the idea of a calendar was a pin -up, but in strongest sexy way, what`s why they called Terry to shot it and about feminist: i guess Carine prefers more strong woman, but that doent mean what she`s into feminism

Thanks , Diorette, you could scan 2 pages separately and then paste `em together or post `em separately as you have done with your previous scans :flower:

of course it's pin-up, i mean i said it in my review ... and i barely see a naked woman ... i mean it's lingerie ... isn't lingerie part of fashion industry ?! but you know ... people ...
