Vogue Paris December 2008/January 2009 : Stéphanie de Monaco by Mert & Marcus

i think these were pictures from a models agency ....
for my part i hadn't scanned it yet ... though it's my fav editorials in this issue ...
i should scan it tomorrow if you want ....
:flower:
I would really want it! :woot:
Thank you very much :flower:
You can be sure you'll give a karma :D

The posted pictures of Iris by David Sims are the complete editorial pictures, nothing is missing.

Thank you for the info, Diorette :flower: It's such a relief not only subscribers get it.

My 2 cents....it's pretty bad overall. Hated the calendar, I have no problems with p*rn, feminist issues and what not in the name of artistic license, but there's none here. It's cheesecake, period, not even in the ironic way like old Richardson. He should just quit, his "work" has no artistic value anymore, just out and out "dumb-blonde" trash. The editorials are pretty unimaginative - I don't mind the retro-80s concept but they just flipped through old issues of Vogue and copied the exact context. These are just reproductions, come on, have more imagination!

Just wanted to say that, for whatever inexplicable reason, my local Barnes & Noble (in the US) had the magazine with the calendar. There wasn't enough in this issue to warrant me buying it but as it seems like the calendar is a rare sighting outside of France I wanted to mention it.

^ Yes. My issue also came with the calendar and I purchased in New York so for anyone in need of the calendar, there are a places outside of France where you can get it. :flower:

I hope I can find somewhere in Ottawa or Calgary to buy the issue with the calendar. That's the only part of this issue I want.

Has anyone in Canada managed to get it yet?

I don't believe Naty's edit was scanned - as such here we go :)

kwik - I find Vogue Paris hard to find. Unless you have a local specialty magazine shop, you'll have to wait and see if Chapter's get it. they might have the calendar included. If not, get it off ebay.

Thank you Luxx!:flower:

Her ed is amazing:blush:

And I actually liked this issue. Milla Jovovich's ed was tres cool:p

I have the calendar arriving in the post :brows:

I completely agree with you..

Maybe it's just me but I feel like this issue is exactly what it should be. Yes it's incredibly 80s but it's representative of an icon of early 80s culture so it makes perfect sense to me that everything would be all retro shoulder pad chic. I feel like they captured Stephanie very aptly with this issue. It's not my favorite of the year but given the subject matter I'm not suffering from the expectation denial it seems most people are getting from this. Quite frankly, this is exactly how I pictured it would turn out. It's a homage, I didn't really expect anything grand so perhaps that's why I'm not disappointed...

^ I agree with every sentence. Well said Luxx
I love the 80's vibe in the issue..

I think the 80's are a decade of crimes against fashion, but it's fun at the same time so I really don't mind it every now and then...
