Vogue Paris February 2011 : Lara Stone by Mario Sorrenti

I love Secret Stories to death. It`s like Sasha Pivovarova`s little personal scrapbook released for everyone to see. I love how she briefly defined it and let the photos speak for themselves. I love how it shows the friendship and quirky sides of models.

Amazing addition to the content. Amazing issue.

^me too! Hopefully that section is next issue too with different model.

If someone's interested to know about how the DVD cover looks like and how is the cover + the sticker, here it is:

Lara wears Gucci on the cover and Gucci isn't part of LVMH.

Arizona's rise to stardom shows how artificial the "supermodel" construct is. I guarantee she was just as good a model several years ago but she didn't have the luck to be favored by the right people in the industry. All it takes is one major designer plucking a girl from obscurity and the rest of the industry falls in line using her for edits until she's a "star". It's funny to watch the process take place over and over again with different models.

I think Paris Vogue is in a rut with their themes. The heavy makeup, red lip and up-the-nose shot is reminiscent of their recent issue with Daphne andTom Ford on the cover. Even the model is blonde again with her hair to one side. ZZZZzzzzzz.

Well, being popular as a model is no different than an actor becoming popular or a musician. It's all about nepotism. Big deal.
