The first bunch of models I noticed were the doll-like models like Gemma, Stam, Lily Cole, Sasha P.
At that time I really like them and I was really obsessed with them. I thought "how could they be so beautiful? are they human?" But then when I got to know more models I became bored with them. The only one that I still like is Sasha.

Apart from Kate Moss and Gemma Ward, the first model I actually knew and liked was Sasha Pivovarova.

I don't like her anymore though. My favourite models now are Lara Stone, Iekeliene Stange and Carmen Kass.

Probably the first model I ever really appreciated was Shalom Harlow and Amber Valetta, back when I just started taking an interest in watching high end European fashion shows. Both are still legends in my eyes. But with the new current rising stars, I had to make room for more favorites.

the very first model i liked was lonneke engel. i was just a kid and i didn't even properly get what is a model, but i thought she is beautiful. i made some research of her on internet and i found out my way to different model sites and i started learning more about fashion and stuff.

First model I liked was Gemma Ward. She was just so different of everything I thought models look like (I was convinced that all models are boring plastic Barbie look a likes, not 'real' people, I believed it all I heard about evil models that ruin the originality and self-esteem of little girls). But Gemma was different, she was the most gorgeous girl I had ever seen, and very original, destroying my image of all models looking the same.

agree with you there Darling Myy (btw, nice icon) but my real first model was Anja Rubik...the Estee Lauder Beautiful ad with her as bride really caught my attention. There, my serious love of fashion began.

the first high-fashion model i was into was Chanel Iman. i used to be obsessed with David Bowie, and while searching for interviews on Youtube, i found Chanel. i thought it would be videos of Iman on Chanel runway, so i clicked it, and i was drawn to Chanel Iman mostly because we have the same eyes.

now i think she's boring, and don't care much for her. i still like her features, but they're not very versatile, i think. a lot of the time she ends up looking commercial. still, she's the reason i became interested fashion in the first place. she was sort of my "gateway"
