Who will be the next face(s) of Prada?

^ i just read in siri's thread that megan collison was in vogue italia but not by meisel. so why would meisel shoot megan for the prada resort campaign and ignore siri? it doesn't make sense

I can understand why he might not use girls who worked for other italia photographers. If he uses them first they have a close association with him, and he gets the karma points (like hes on TFS ) plus the SOLE credit for making the girl a supermodel or whatever. If he uses a girl who isn't a vogue italia virgin, then it's like he's jumping on the bandwagon rather than 'making' the girl.

EDIT: I just remembered! Acid posted in Craig McDean's thread 'can't wait to see his prada campaign'. ME CONFUSED! McDean is doing menswear campaign?

Well, Anna-Mariya got a Vogue Italia cover, so it wasn't all that bad for her.

prada campaign = money, vogue italia cover = prestige. For her the two didn't connect i really like her

i don't like suvi, so i'm never in her thread, but i think her only vogue italia appearance was in the feb 2007 issue, only a couple photos in the main editorial.

Meghan hasn't been in Vogue Italia yet. I think she has shot VI with Steven K, but more importantly, she's apparently already done so with Steven M as well. So I guess her VI debut will definitely be the Meisel ed.

If Suvi isn't working with meisel anymore I can't imagine she will ever get his campaigns.

so the legend goes that freja was booked for the prada aw05 campaign, went to the shoot, 10 minutes later meisel tells her to go home and they've never worked together since. he then shoots sasha who becomes the latest supermodel.

Freja is definately an intellectual version of meagan - not a big fan of either but I can see why people like freja.

she also appeared in the internet themed editorial, whatever issue that was. The one with Sasha and Missy on the cover.

I can't believe Siri's agency would make such a big mistake like that. While its ridiculous that Meisel has these rules, it seems to not be unknown and her agency should have known better. She should switch

Correct me if I'm wrong, but sasha and snejana's debuts in italia vogue were shot by meisel, and then they both went on to book the AW05 prada campaign together

But are there many other photographers for Italian Vogue? Or just those two? So if you shoot for Italian Vogue... and you know the photographer isn't Meisel, do you then have to ask for Meisel or what?
