The first shot is classic, yet striking. The second shot adds the right amount of sophistication. It screams YSL. Love it.

I must be one of the very few people who doesn't instantly like these first few images - I don't know how they've managed to make Daria's legs look so feeble, but for me, that first shot looks more like a comedy witch in a knobbly knees contest than an imposing person of mystery.

She looks nice in the second shot, but even then, I'm not getting a strong impression of any great style or presence - although that could all change once I see it on paper.

Oh, I actually really like what I&V did with Daria here- was not expecting this. There's something about the scene that's so stunning in black and white, almost cinematic (we're seeing a lot of cinematic references in the campaigns this season). I especially like that fancy, Parisian staircase. Vintage YSL, classic indeed. I think it's gorgeous.

Wasn't expecting this outcome, but the ads are so painfully chic. The vibe is so cinematic and the hair really ads a mysteriousness. I love it and totally want to know the character Daria's embodying (plus can I just say her cheekbones look insane).

I don't instantly like it either, and I love me some Daria.

I just don't think it's all that great personally. Nothing much there. I don't think it helps either that I found the actual collection very weak.

Might improve when we see the full set, and I'll be happy when I have giant images of Daria when the Mannifesto is released at least.

I agree!! Daria is my number 1 and I can't believe that my reaction to the 2nd photo was "ehh" and then "what the" I feel like her leg shouldn't have been positioned that way and what's up with the shoe? Maybe it's just the scan or maybe it's just me but it looks to me as if Daria is wearing shoes that are too big?!

I am absolutely in love with the first photo though!! Even if you can barely see Daria's face. I also love the necklace!! WANT!!
