So far, the cut is way too feminine for my sake...I don't know what to think yet. But I do know that socks in sandals is NEVER a good thing. Not even when the socks and sandals count up to at least 800 euros and carry the YSL name.

What's going on with those EXTREMELY low necklines? Or are those not shirts but actually bands of fabric around the guys torso?

What are the harem-ish high waisted pants doing in a menswear collection, does Pilati need to use them everywhere?

I don't really know what to think . . it feels like it's trying to be one of the quieter brands . . with the draping and all.
Why is there a tire-mark on the lapel of that coat ?
I'm going to sleep on it . . .

:yuk: Disaster

Everything is soo loose fitting it's not good for the body at all......those necklines are horrible...and don't get me started with the sandals and socks....it's an almost depressing collection, the only thing remotely good are the headbands.

i think the cardigans (and some of the coats) are good. The baggy trousers are so-so...
But the colours aren't interesting and the cuts not compensated them.

Oh so there IS an actual runway show.... I see.

That is nice I guess: I take my words back, since I thought the video was going to be the only form of presentation for this season. That said, I wonder how that little kid is going to look if these are indeed the clothes he is going to wear: they are HUGE even for grown-up men!!!

Oh and about the actual collection: is this really SS? It is unbelievable!

The looks are so layered and 'warm' looking even. Even the fabric choice is so heavy and wool-heavy as I can see. Weird.

I do not like the pants and there are not many men who will be able to wear them anyways. Quite pointless to present these in such a season. Some trenches and cardigans are really nice, but the high waist-low crotch ******** harem pants are so cumbersome, it is impossible to see the silhouette as something acceptable or modern. Oh and I hate the very long cardigans that look like dresses. Put a skinny belt at the waist and give your gf as a dress. Versace just did the similar look in a much more guy-friendly, fashion-forward and modern way.

I love the black trench with ivory lapels on #46, but absolutely loathe the beige coat with the weird half-patterned lapels on #48. It is horrendous. The trenches are usually very chic though. I hate the styling and the model choice: there isn't one attractive model here. They are perhaps handsome men in real life, but tehy look awful here for some reason.

The other issue is; why on earth does the world need a show like this at this point? I mean, with all these useless pants that nobody is going to buy or even enjoy to look at? This is not experimentation at this point coming from Pilati: it is the same old thing reheated again and again... why he tries to make these subtle variations of his beloved harem pants happen is beyond me.

They are all awful imo.
