i actually think a lot of this is lovely

am quite shocked at how fast this stuff gets put up on the internet now...

the patrick robinson stuff just came out, libertine is after that and we already know what the temperley stuff will look like? seems like warp speed to me...

i'm wondering if this stuff will look "old" or if the novelty will wear off by the time the stuff hits stores in September--4 months away!!

On another note.. I don't think of these things as "designer" really... more like affordable clothing with nicer designs than we would typically expect from a retailer like target..

I don't think anyone goes in expecting they will get a high quality proenza schouler bustier or alice temperley hand-dyed dress at target... but i still like that you can get the illusion of it for not so much money..

especially for those of us who are younger and don't have much disposable income for expensive fashion items...

So it's gonna happen again. Everyone gets way excited two designers before. We want everything. By the time it comes out, then we see it, no one wants it anymore.

so true. well, i would have bought more from proenza schouler if it wasnt soooooo sheer

as for this, i like the sweaterdresses and the "leaf print sweater".

all in all, i think she would have done better doing a summer collection. the timing was just off

well you have to remember that there's really only so much you can do on a budget... beading would have driven the prices up and in all likelihood would have looked a bit cheap or tacky because it wouldn't be of the same standard of quality that she normally can do...

i am def gonna make a run to target. i can so use this for work. i'm getting so tired of wearing suits....well bored is more like it. i see some combos i love from this line. oh and the overalls! i loveee them. if i get ahold of a pair i'm gonna cut them and make them into shorts =p

It's definitely very fall, but it's also quite boring. I do, however, like the grey ruffle dress (hopefully I still will after seeing it in a bigger size or in person) and the plain longsleeved black dress. The collection is pretty forgettable.

i'm really excited to see this all in person. i love the victorian, almost somber feel of it all. i really would like to check out that black long-sleeved dress...it's kind of ossie clark-ish in its cut. i think a lot of it will fit into my existing wardrobe pretty seamlessly.

I became overwhelmed yesterday by simultaneously viewing the Libertine and Erin Fetherston press images along with this one. This collection looked boring compared to the other two, but now that I look at it again, I can't wait to see it for real. I'm mostly attracted to the black beret even though I can find it right now through a little ebay searching, but I'll just wait until it comes out. I also like the overall dress even though I already own a Free People jumper with a similar silhouette that I rarely wear because I feel fat in it. -- That was my life story.

Its really kind of silly to be annoyed when expensive designer clothing becomes available to the hoi polloi. We're not living in the middle ages you know [kings vs. peasants]

Besides, Its just clothing anyway-its a material object and shouldn't matter in the great scheme of things. When you're secure in yourself you'll understand that. B)

I think the Libertine stuff looks o.k. in the photos. I hope they actually have everything this time. I've had the hardest time in the past locating some peices, even with the 5 million Target stores here.

When is Temperly coming up? Libertine is July, I believe, but i don't remember if they change every 3 month or 1 month.
