Anna Dello Russo talks to Celebrity Dialogue

Celebrity Dialogue: How long have you been in the fashion
industry
Anna: I started in 1989 with Italian Vogue
as fashion editor with franca sozzani.

Celebrity Dialogue: What does fashion mean to you
Anna: Fashion is the voice of COLLECTIVE UNCONSCIOUS,
totally out-of-control.

Celebrity Dialogue: Please share with us 18 years of your
experience in Conde Nast Italia.
Anna: it was the best and strongest school in the '90,
I learned to work with high quality and to think in full-size.
My job was to travel around the world and make all the
fashion shooting with the best photographers.

Celebrity Dialogue: You were the Editor of L'Uomo from
2000 to 2006. How was that experience
Anna: That was another battleground because I was stuck in
the office 12 ours a day to direct all my crew
for the men's market that is completely different
from that of the women.

Celebrity Dialogue: Would you describe "a day in the life
of Anna Dello Russo" as the Editor in "Large"
Anna: I start my single day to practice yoga and swim,
then I spend ours at the phone with my japanese team and
with international fashion editors who contribute to the
creative part of the magazine. Plus I go to all the shows and
capture fashion's important moments.

Celebrity Dialogue: What are your responsibilities as
creative consultant in Vogue Japan
Anna: I take care of all the editorial fashion- stories
(called WELL) and the choice of photographers and stilyst
models etc.
In the beginning of the season I individualize the trends
of fashion around which all team work.

Celebrity Dialogue As a fashion guru what advantages
do you have of living in Milan, the fashion
capital of the world
Anna: DOING SHOPPING!
